ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic) filament from ROSA3D is a polymer resistant to UV radiation, moisture and heat. ASA‘s resistance to UV radiation makes it a suitable material for outdoor applications, e.g. parts that will be intensively exposed to the sun and various weather conditions. ASA is ideal when you need a high-performance material that will be less problematic than printing from ABS. The filament has less shrinkage and the vapors produced are much less irritating. The softening point of ASA prints is higher compared to PLA and PET-G, there is no signs of deformation up to a temperature of approx. 94 ° C. The unique mechanical and thermal properties of ASA together with excellent resistance to UV radiation make it a great choice for automotive, marine and exterior applications such as mirror, radiator or sensor covers. Recommended printing parameters: extrusion temperature 220-250°C bed temperature: 90-110°C The adhesion of the first layer can be improved with ASA slurry (ASA material dissolved in acetone). It is recommended to print in a closed chamber. PRODUCT PARAMETERS Color: blue Diameter: 1.75 mm Weight: 1000 g (vacuum packed) Density: 1.07 g/cm3 Odor: almost odorless Vicat softening point: 94 ° C (ASTM 1525) Diameter tolerance: +/- 0,05 Oval tolerance: +/- 0,02 Tensile elongation: 35 % Tensile strength (to break): 40 MPa Printable model for refill spool sides you can download here:

PCTG is an advanced 3D printing filament, belonging to the same polyester family as the popular PET-G. Compared to PET-G, PCTG has higher impact strength, heat resistance (up to 76°C) and transparency. It offers an interesting alternative to PET-G. Like PET-G, PCTG does not require a heated print chamber, making it an excellent choice if you plan to print on open hobby printers.PCTG is characterized by high flexibility, strong adhesion between layers, high viscosity and minimal shrinkage. Its characteristics enable easy and efficient printing, even for those without much 3D printing experience. 3D printing using PCTG is widely used in various sectors. In industry, it is an ideal choice for creating parts, small batch production and usable models, confirming the versatility of this material. The automotive sector also benefits from the advantages of PCTG, using it to print accessories, components in the engine compartment, vehicle component housings, as well as components such as air intakes and fluid inlets (chemical resistance). In the world of sport, PCTG proves its value in the production of various types of accessories, protectors, etc. The properties of this material guarantee not only the high durability of the finished prints, but also their aesthetics and functionality.
