The Alphacool ES 1-Slot Copper/Carbon water cooler with backplate was specially developed for the Alphacool Enterprise Series. Due to the positioning of the connections, the tubing of the cooler in the server rack is made much easier. The cooler top and the backplate are made of carbon. This makes the water cooler lighter compared to Alphacool's ice blocks with acetal or acrylic top. This cooler is 1U compatible! More performance! Alphacool succeeds in positioning the cooler as close as possible to the components to be cooled. To do this, the thermal pads used are reduced to a thickness of 1mm. The maximum possible reduction in the thickness of the copper block and the optimization of the water flow within the cooler allow all important components such as the GPU, voltage converter and VRAMs to be cooled much better and more effectively by the water. All of this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance. Chrome-plated copper The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. Chrome plating is much harder than nickel plating and is therefore less susceptible to acids, scratches and damage. The risk of nickel plating chipping off is completely eliminated. In addition, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and offers a shine that cannot be achieved with nickel plating. Connections on the back? In order to save space in terms of width and height during installation, the inlet and outlet were moved to the rear of the cooling block. This positioning of the connections makes the tubing much easier and enables the GPU cooler to be easily integrated into the water circuit, even in the tightest server cases. Copper or aluminum? Alphacool uses only copper for all water-carrying parts. Copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum and is therefore the much better choice of material for water cooling. The chrome-plated copper base is highly acid-resistant, which means that the chrome plating cannot chip off. Thermal paste & thermal pads The electrically non-conductive thermal paste is particularly well suited for high contact pressures, but can still be processed perfectly due to the viscosity of 850,000 TF. For the thermal pads, Alphacool uses soft pads that fit perfectly to the components to be cooled and are very durable. The Alphacool ES Solution Laing DDC310 pump serves as the foundation for various 1 to 4U server solutions from Alphacool. The unit is based around the very popular Alphacool DDC pump and has been coupled with a simple pump base to maintain compatibility with various Enterprise Solution reservoirs. Compact and powerful. The flat design of the Laing DDC310 pump saves space and fits with the corresponding Enterprise reservoirs from chassis as small as a 1U server rack. This results in a very powerful pump that can be used in the smallest of spaces. The DDC310 variant offers with a delivery height of 2.44m enough power to operate an extensive water loop. The performance is enough to operate a dual or quad socket system including reservoir and radiators. The performance of the pump is also sufficient to operate a render server with up to 4 graphics cards. Spherical Ceramic Bearing The pump uses a shaftless ball motor or spherical bearing. The motor is driven by magnets while the rotor is mounted on a ball-ceramic bearing. This makes the pump maintenance-free, as the bearing is self-adjusting and maintenance-free. The pump is lubricated by the coolant during operation. This makes the Alphacool ES Solution Laing DDC310 pump a so-called wet rotor pump.
