Alphacool Core 2 LT 240mm CPU AiO – All-in-one liquid cooler for the processor Alphacool Core 2 LT 240mm CPU AiO is a closed-loop liquid cooler: pump, cold plate, tubing and radiator come pre-filled and sealed. That takes the filling and bleeding work out of liquid cooling while still moving the CPU heat to where there is room for a large radiator. The dimensions are 120 x 120 x 25 mm. The Alphacool Core 2 LT AIO was developed specifically for compact PC systems and applications with limited space. As the successor to the Eisbaer LT, it consistently continues the compact concept and combines proven components with targeted technical improvements. An Alphacool NexXxoS ST25 Full Copper Radiator is used for heat dissipation. With a mounting height of only 25 mm, it requires significantly less space than classic radiators. As a result, the Core 2 LT is particularly suitable for compact cases and Small-Form-Factor systems without making unnecessary compromises in cooling performance. The pump and CPU cooler are housed in a compact unit. The cold plate is still made of copper and ensures efficient heat transfer from the CPU to the water circuit. Alphacool 2-part thermal adhesive is perfect for mounting coolers onto components such as motherboard VRMs. The 2-part epoxy-based adhesive is the optimal choice when coolers need to be mounted more securely onto the CPU or GPU of single-board computers (Raspberry PI, ODROID, Arduino, Cubieboard etc.). The range of applications is so wide that even coolers on electronic components in power amplifiers or RC vehicles can be bonded reliably and securely. Properties The Alphacool 2-part thermal adhesive is electrically non-conductive. The high metallic content of aluminium nitride (70 - 73 %) guarantees optimal thermal conductivity (0.9 W/mK). The thermal adhesive creates a stable bond. Due to the material composition, mechanical variances between the components to be bonded can also be compensated for well. Surface curing is achieved after 2h (at 25°C ambient temperature). Complete curing takes place within 5 to 7 days (at 25°C ambient temperature). Application All surfaces must be clean and free of grease, dust or contaminants. Important: The processing time is limited! As a rule, the processing time is about 10 minutes until the adhesive starts to cure. Adhesive (black) and activator (yellow) must be thoroughly mixed in a ratio of 4:1 on a clean surface for approx. 2 to 3 minutes with a spatula. Perfect mixing is important to ensure an optimum bond. The two-part adhesive can then be applied thinly to the surfaces to be bonded using a spatula. Finally, the components to be bonded are pressed together. Higher ambient temperatures during processing ensure effective curing of the adhesive and increase strength at higher temperatures. The Alphacool Core reservoir combines performance with design. The tube of the reservoir is made of acrylic, the D5/VPP pump top and the lid of acetal. The combination of these two materials gives the expansion tank a discreet appearance. The wow effect is provided by 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top and the Lighttower water effect inside the acrylic tube. What's new? Compared to the previous Eisbecher models, the acrylic tube of the Core reservoir has an external thread. This provides more stability and safety when connecting the lid and pump top to the tube. Also new is the integrated digital aRGB lighting. 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top are included in the scope of delivery of the Core reservoir and no longer have to be purchased separately. Extensive mounting options Mounting option 1: Stands are included in the scope of delivery, which, among other things, allow the expansion tank to be mounted on the bottom of the enclosure. Mounting option 2: Included in the scope of delivery are 120mm/140mm mounting frames, which can be used to mount the Core expansion tank as desired on free fan spaces, radiators or on the fans on radiators. If you do not fill the reservoir beyond the top edge of the riser tube, you get a kind of fountain effect. In this case, the water is pushed out the sides of the riser tube and splashed against the glass tube. Depending on the flow of the circuit, the effect is stronger or weaker. The effect can be placed at the lower or upper inlet using the riser tubes included in the delivery. Pump compatibility The Alphacool Core expansion tank has an integrated pump top and is compatible with all original D5 pumps as well as all Alphacool VPP pumps. The Alphacool Core ATX bridging connector is a highly effective, simple aid. When the water cooling system is assembled, the system must be filled. For this, the pump needs power from the power supply, and the system itself should remain de-energized for safety. To be able to start the power supply without powering up the entire computer, the 24-pin ATX connector is removed from the motherboard, which switches off the power supply. The 24-pin bridging connector is then plugged onto the power supply’s 24-pin connector, and the pump is connected to the power supply. After pressing the power switch, the power supply starts and the pump is supplied with power. With the Core Ocean AiO, Alphacool presents an all-in-one solution that, thanks to its excellent price-performance ratio, enables entry into performance-oriented CPU water cooling. The difference to the Eisbaer CPU AiO is that the Ocean All-in-One is not expandable. Adding further components such as GPU coolers, radiators or expansion tanks is not intended here. But also not necessary! The choice of components and the design of the Core Ocean enable a long service life with low maintenance for water cooling of all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. Aluminium Radiator Compared to Alphacool's full copper models, the T38 aluminium radiator has additional cooling channels. This technical design allows a significant increase in cooling capacity without restricting the water flow within the radiator. Due to the low height of 38mm, the radiator with single-sided fan assembly fits into the tightest case and enables high-performance water cooling of the CPU. Core fan The fan can be regulated from 0 to 2000 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connection. The cable is 40cm long. This allows the fan to be connected to the mainboard or a special controller without the need for additional adapter cables or extensions. At 2000 rpm, it provides an air flow of 92.3 CFM, together with a high static pressure of 2.53mm/H2O. This makes the fan perfect for mounting on radiators of a water cooling system. The cooler is compatible with all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. The built-in pump has a speed range of 2500 - 3500 RPM (+/- 10%) and can be controlled via PWM. The pump is connected to the mainboard or to an external controller via the existing 4-pin fan connector. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and monitored. Hoses & Connections The FEP hoses are 40cm long, sleeved and very flexible. The rotatable 360° connections to the cooler and to the radiator are permanently installed and cannot be replaced. However, the combination of hoses and connectors allows a very variable positioning of the AiO even in the tightest PC case. Illumination 12 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs are installed in the pump housing, which create a unique, very noble-looking illumination.
