Thanks to the available colour display, the temperature can be read either in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.Integration made easyThe Alphacool Core temperature sensor is very compact and can be integrated into any loop thanks to its two G1/4" internal threads. It does not matter whether the system is equipped with hoses or hard tubes. Using an adapter with G1/4" external thread, the sensor can be used on all exposed G1/4" threaded openings on the radiator, reservoir, graphics card cooler or CPU cooler.Temperature sensor & displayA classic NTC 10 kOhm thermistor is used as the sensor. The cable of the temperature sensor with a length of approx. 97 cm offers enough possibilities for a comfortable installation. Alphacool was the first manufacturer worldwide to consistently use copper in all water-carrying components—such as end chambers, cooling fins, and the soldered cooling channels. Only the connection threads are made of brass for technical hardening reasons. The cooling fins are only lightly coated, allowing the copper to subtly shine through when viewed closely. This is to avoid a thick layer of paint that could reduce cooling performance. The fin density is an optimal 15 FPI, allowing the radiator to work perfectly even with low airflow. A higher density would require faster fans, while a lower density wouldn’t benefit from higher fan speeds. Alphacool has found the perfect balance here. Fans and lighting The entire Eisbaer Aurora cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. The pump housing features a fully illuminated Eisbaer pattern all around, making it a true eye-catcher inside your case. The Alphacool Rise Aurora 120 mm fans are also fully lit with 5V aRGB LEDs. The fan frame has a unique pattern with many small cut-outs, creating a particularly elegant lighting effect. No individual LEDs are visible, and the lighting is far more impressive than a simple LED ring. Of course, all digital RGB LEDs can be controlled individually, and depending on the controller, nearly all lighting effects are possible. How everything connects The fans are controlled via a standard 4-pin PWM connector. To avoid connecting each fan individually to the motherboard, a matching Y-cable is included. The RGB lighting uses a 3-pin JST connector. Each cable also has a built-in Y-adapter, allowing the fans to be easily daisy-chained. A 3-pin 5V adapter is also included, so you can connect the fans to any compatible motherboard and control the lighting. Alternatively, the included digital RGB controller can be used. The Eisbaer Aurora pump uses a 3-pin Molex connector, which can also be connected directly to the motherboard. A nozzle plate provides an accelerated flow over the cooling fins which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimized so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly. The Eisbaer LT Aurora cooler uses the very compact and small DC-LT 2 pump. It provides enough power to add another component such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator to the circuit.FanThe Alphacool Rise Aurora fan offers a wide control range as well as superior Digital aRGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the fan's special design create unique effects. The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. Additionally, it offers a Zero control, which allows the fan to be regulated down to 0 RPM and then starts at approximately 350 RPM.
