With a wall thickness of 3 mm, the tubes are very strong, but can still be bent without great effort and they are easy to fit. PETG HardTubes are probably the easiest to bend compared to those made of other materials. They require significantly less heat than PMMA HardTubes, for example. The Alphacool Eisrohr PETG HardTubes are absolutely clear and will look great in almost every water cooling loop. The Alphacool NexXxoS GPX Pro backplate for the Alphacool GPX Pro Solo GPU cooler. The backplate serves to stabilise and evenly distribute the contact pressure. In combination with a suitable optional available heat conduction pad, the bending of the PCB due to the back pressure can be prevented. The increased number of fin rows and their shortening also results in a much more efficient utilization of the cooling surface. Comparison tests with the conventional NexXxoS radiator have demonstrated that the HPE radiator can achieve a performance improvement of 4.5K. The pre-chambers, cooling fins and cooling channels are made of pure copper. Only the fitting threads (made of brass) and the outer casing of the radiator (made of sheet steel) are made of other materials.HPE = High PerformanceThe HPE radiators are based on the NexXxoS series. But what is new? The HPE variant has additional cooling channels and a very high fin density. Due to the technical design, the cooling capacity increases significantly without restricting the water flow within the radiator. If the radiator is equipped with fans on both sides in push/pull operation, it is possible to achieve a significant temperature reduction compared to standard radiators.Powerful cooling performanceTo maximise the performance of the radiator, Alphacool reaches deep into its bag of tricks and uses pure copper for the cooling fins, cooling channels and pre-chambers.
