The fin structure was adapted and enables a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The Alphacool Eisblock ES Acetal GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 Turbo was specially developed for the Alphacool Enterprise series. The full-cover cooler with aluminium backplate cools the GPU and all important components such as voltage converters and the graphics memory directly with water. Connections to the top? Server cases offer different dimensions than normal PC cases. To save space in width and height, the connections were moved to the top. It has been specially optimized for use in 1U server racks and has extended connection options. This allows for more connection options in the very tight 1U server racks and integrate it easily into a cooling loop.Many Connection OptionsThanks to its extremely flat design, the Eisblock XPX 1U fits into any 1U server case. Due to the flat design of a 1U server rack, no inlets or outlets can be used on top of the CPU cooler as the total height of the CPU cooler including the fittings would no longer fit. This allows for the largest possible area for heat dissipation through the water.Simple AssemblyThe backplate is attached to the mainboard from behind. Then the mounting frame and the mounting screws (which can be pre-assembled seperately) are attached directly on the CPU block. Then it is a simple job of screwing the CPU block and mounting frame to the backplate. Mounting material for all mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel is included. We do not include the mounting materials for some Intel Xeon sockets and the AMD Threadripper as we recommend the Eisblock XPX Pro series for these. Die Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU-Wasserkühler bieten dank des patentierten Rampensystems höchste Leistung, gepaart mit einer hervorragenden Qualität. Das Aurora Design im Zusammenspiel mit der adressierbaren digitalen RGB Beleuchtung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für eine herausragende Beleuchtung des CPU-Wasserkühlers. Alphacool hat schon beim ersten Alphacool Eisblock XPX eine neue Einspritztechnik entwickelt und patentiert. Das sogenannte „Rampensystem“ sorgt für einen gleichmäßigen Wasserfluss innerhalb des Kühlers und sitzt vor der Düsenplatte. Dadurch wird das Wasser gleichmäßig durch die Düsenplatte gepresst, wodurch das Wasser sich auch gleichmäßig über den Kühlerboden verteilt. Die Kühlkanäle auf dem CPU Kühlerboden wurden zudem auf stolze 34 x 32 mm vergrößert, um den immer größer werdenden CPU DIEs gerecht zu werden. Das gilt insbesondere für Mehrkern-Prozessoren mit 4, 6, 8 oder gar 12 und mehr CPU Kernen. Damit die Wärme von der CPU schnellstmöglich an das Wasser abgegeben werden kann, sind 81 Kühlfinnen auf dem Kühlerboden zu finden. Dabei wurde die Finnenstruktur auf lediglich 0,2 mm vermindert, um eine möglichst große Oberfläche auf engstem Raum zu erzeugen. Der Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Edge wurde in einigen Punkten wesentlich zum Vorgänger Eisblock XPX verändert. Der untere Teil des Kühlers besteht vollständig aus Messing und nicht mehr aus Acryl oder transparentem Nylon. Dadurch verändert sich die gesamte Haptik und Qualität des Kühlers. Er liegt nicht nur schwerer in der Hand, sondern ist in jeder Hinsicht auch deutlich stabiler als die üblichen Acryl CPU Wasserkühler. Um sich optisch weiter vom normalen Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU-Wasserkühlers abzuheben, wurde der Zwischenboden des Kühlers komplett in Schwarz gehalten. Dadurch wird der optische Effekt des Wasserflusses nochmal hervorgehoben. Die Ecken des CPU-Kühlers sind eckiger gestaltet, wodurch sich der Kühler deutlich vom normalen Eisblock Aurora Acryl abhebt.

The Alphacool XPX Aurora Pro Light is the little sister of the XPX Pro CPU liquid cooling block. It offers a clearer design but does without the ramp system of the XPX Pro models. This eliminates the view of the water channels, giving a much clearer look to the coolant. Like the other XPX Pro models, the cooler has been specially optimized for AMD Threadripper, Intel LGA 3647 and 2011/2066 processors.How is the CPU cooler illuminated?As with all new Eisblock CPU water coolers, Alphacool uses an integrated aRGB solution. Under the black frame there are 14 Digital RGB LEDs are mounted around the entire cooler. Each of these 5V aRGB LEDs can be controlled separately. This means that all known effects are possible, depending on the selected controller. There are controllers are available from Alphacool, but also many mainboards offer a 3-pin 5V aRGB connector to control the LEDs of the Eisblock Aurora Pro Light. The cable ends in a 3-pin JST connector with integrated Y-adapter to connect further Alphacool components directly. A corresponding 3-pin JST to 3-pin V adapter is included in the delivery.Extremely powerfulThe coldplate has been specially optimized for the large processor cores. A total of 147 cooling fins run over an area of around 42 x 58.6 mm. For comparison: An Alphacool XPX Aurora Eisblock requires only 81 cooling fins to completely cover the processor core of a normal CPU. Both coolers use the same type of fins with a thickness of only 0.2 mm. This clearly shows how far Alphacool has gone in order to offer the best possible performance. The entire cooler base is of course made of nickel-plated copper and not aluminium. This is because the thermal conductivity of copper is known to be almost twice as high as that of aluminium.Is installation difficult?The assembly is extremely easy. You remove the protective foil from the cooler bottom, spread some of the enclosed thermal paste on the CPU and then attach the cooler. Depending on the base, the mounting screws are screwed on before or after the cooler is put on. No tools are necessary for the installation. You have the Alphacool Eisfach in the DC-LT or DDC version and would like to switch to the D5 version? With this modification kit, no problem. Knowing Alphacool, any kind of modifying, expanding and upgrading is no problem, as always. Just remove the back of the Eisfach and attach the new D5 back. And just like that, you have a system with the power of the D5 pump. On the back: On the right side of the back are two display spaces for 5mm LEDs, behind the window panel. This lets you create a unique look and illumination. On the left side there are two openings for filling or draining fluid. The final two 1/4” threads are meant for the inlet and outlet. Behind the inlet, a Bubble Down unit has been installed to prevent turbulence which could let air into the water circulation.
