The Eisbaer LT 92 has been launched specifically for small form factor cases. Space in SFF cases is extremely limited, so the Eisbaer LT 92 differs in several aspects from the regular Eisbaer LT.Perfect for SFF CasesThe cooling block and pump unit measures only 40 mm in height, making it smaller than the I/O panel on the motherboard. This ensures the Eisbaer LT 92 fits nearly every compact case available on the market. The hose length is just 25 cm, making it ideal for small cases where dealing with long hoses can be challenging. This is one of the reasons why Alphacool opted not to use the usual quick disconnects on the Eisbaer LT 92. Because of the compact dimensions of SFF cases, quick disconnects can often be too cumbersome.Uncompromising in MaterialsAs is the standard for Alphacool, the radiator is made of copper and comes from the renowned NexXxoS series. The end chambers, cooling fins, and water channels are all made entirely of copper. Copper’s heat capacity is almost twice that of aluminum—most noticeable when the radiator is pushed to its performance limits. When a comparable aluminum radiator fails, the copper one keeps going. The cold plate of the Eisbaer LT 92 is also made from nickel-plated copper. The connection threads are made of brass for strength reasons. In addition, the cooling fins are only lightly painted. On closer inspection the copper shimmers through a little. A thick lacquer coating would result in a reduction of the cooling capacity. The fin density is at optimal 15FPI. Therefore the radiator works perfectly even at low airflow. A too high fin density would require fans with higher speed to achieve the same cooling capacity. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast rotating fans. So the golden mean was chosen.Real water coolingThe Eisbaer Pro Aurora consists almost entirely of actual water cooling components. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The hose connections also come from the Enterprise series from Alphacool and use the standard G1/4". This makes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora fully compatible with all common water cooling products. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. Die Wasserkühlung Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora bietet eine wesentlich höhere Kühlfläche als die normale Eisbaer Aurora. Speziell für extrem große CPU DIEs entwickelt, deckt die Eisbaer Pro Aurora Prozessoren wie den AMD Threadripper, aber auch die AMD Ryzen CPUs vollständig ab. Auch für den Intel Sockel 3647 ist die Eisbaer Pro konzeptioniert worden, um die bestmögliche Kühlleistung der gesamten CPU zu ermöglichen. Die Lüfter werden ganz normal über einen 4-Pin PWM Stecker angesteuert. Ein im Lieferumfang beiliegender Y-Adapter für die Lüfter erleichtert das Anschließen auf dem Mainboard. Damit können alle Lüfter über einen Anschluss angesteuert und geregelt werden. Jeder Lüfter besitzt für die LED Beleuchtung einen 3-Pin JST Anschlussstecker inklusive Y-Adapter. Dadurch können die Lüfter direkt zusammengeschlossen werden und synchron über einen Controller geregelt werden. Für den Anschluss an einem typischen 3-Pin 5V Anschluss liegt ein entsprechender Adapter bei. Alternativ kann auch der beiliegende Digital RGB-Controller verwendet werden.

Another positive side effect is that power consumption has been almost halved as a result. Compared to Alphacool's Eispumpe, the power is not supplied via a 4-pin Molex connector. The next generation - The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora water cooler for Geforce RTX 4XXX graphics cards. In order to dissipate the enormous heat of this graphics card generation in the best possible way, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous model. The fin structure was adapted and enables a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The modified jet plate with improved inflow engine ensures an optimal distribution of the water on the cooling fins.Technical HighlightsThe fin structure of this Eisblock cooler generation was developed together with Nvidia board partners. The fin thickness is 0.4 mm, the distance between the cooling fins is 0.4 mm. This ensures a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The jet plate has a revised inlay that spreads the water pressure better over the fins thus optimizing the heat absorption. The adjusted water inflow gives the water a better angle of inflow.Chrome-plated copperThe cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating. Chrome-plated coolers have previously only been used in the industrial sector in areas where extreme influences act on the coolers. DesignThe Aurora design of the Geforce RTX 4XXX Eisblock generation is visually calmer and simpler. Only one O-ring runs around the entire cooler. The design around the cooling fins and jetplate makes for a cleaner look. The illumination of the digitally addressable RGB LEDs is even better distributed throughout the cooler as a result of the chrome plating. The terminal's design is in line with the classic Aurora design.Thermal paste & thermal padsThe included thermal compound is Alphacool's Subzero. With a thermal conductivity of 16 W/mK, it is one of the highest performing thermal pastes on the market. The electrically non-conductive thermal compund is particularly well suited for high contact pressures, but can still be processed perfectly due to its viscosity of 850,000 TF. Alphacool Soft Pads with 1mm thickness are used on the voltage converter and the graphics memory. The thermal conductivity of the pads is 7 W/mK. The pads for the back of the PCB are 3mm thick and have a thermal conductivity of 3 W/mK. With this backplate, made of nickel-plated copper, the back of Geforce RTX 3080/3090 graphics cards can also be actively water-cooled, resulting in a significant increase in cooling performance.Connection optionsThere are 2 different ways to incorporate the backplate into your existing watercooling loop: Variant 1The cooler provides both an inlet and outlet with G1/4" internal thread on the top side. With appropriate fittings and hoses/hard tubes, the backplate can be easily integrated into the water circuit. Variant 2The cooler also offers an inlet and outlet on the side for 5/3mm hoses. Die Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU-Wasserkühler bieten dank des patentierten Rampensystems höchste Leistung, gepaart mit einer hervorragenden Qualität. Das Aurora Design im Zusammenspiel mit der adressierbaren digitalen RGB Beleuchtung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für eine herausragende Beleuchtung des CPU-Wasserkühlers. Alphacool hat schon beim ersten Alphacool Eisblock XPX eine neue Einspritztechnik entwickelt und patentiert. Das sogenannte „Rampensystem“ sorgt für einen gleichmäßigen Wasserfluss innerhalb des Kühlers und sitzt vor der Düsenplatte. Dadurch wird das Wasser gleichmäßig durch die Düsenplatte gepresst, wodurch das Wasser sich auch gleichmäßig über den Kühlerboden verteilt. Die Kühlkanäle auf dem CPU Kühlerboden wurden zudem auf stolze 34 x 32 mm vergrößert, um den immer größer werdenden CPU DIEs gerecht zu werden. Das gilt insbesondere für Mehrkern-Prozessoren mit 4, 6, 8 oder gar 12 und mehr CPU Kernen. Damit die Wärme von der CPU schnellstmöglich an das Wasser abgegeben werden kann, sind 81 Kühlfinnen auf dem Kühlerboden zu finden. Dabei wurde die Finnenstruktur auf lediglich 0,2 mm vermindert, um eine möglichst große Oberfläche auf engstem Raum zu erzeugen. Der Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Edge wurde in einigen Punkten wesentlich zum Vorgänger Eisblock XPX verändert. Der untere Teil des Kühlers besteht vollständig aus Messing und nicht mehr aus Acryl oder transparentem Nylon. Dadurch verändert sich die gesamte Haptik und Qualität des Kühlers. Er liegt nicht nur schwerer in der Hand, sondern ist in jeder Hinsicht auch deutlich stabiler als die üblichen Acryl CPU Wasserkühler. Um sich optisch weiter vom normalen Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU-Wasserkühlers abzuheben, wurde der Zwischenboden des Kühlers komplett in Schwarz gehalten. Dadurch wird der optische Effekt des Wasserflusses nochmal hervorgehoben. Die Ecken des CPU-Kühlers sind eckiger gestaltet, wodurch sich der Kühler deutlich vom normalen Eisblock Aurora Acryl abhebt.
