Alongside the different prefilled Eisbaer Aurora CPU AIO watercoolers that can be used "Out of the Box", the core of the Eisbaer Aurora is also available as a solo version. With it you can decide how you want to build your water cooling loop and which parts you want to use for it. By using the industry standard G1/4" ports, all fittings from the water cooling sector can be used. This gives you the ability to choose the hose thickness, colour, style, and liquid freely. The Eisbaer Aurora gives you full control.Pump and coolerThe basis of the pump is the Alphacool DC-LT 2 Ceramic pump which is also available separately. The pump is powerful enough to operate a circuit consisting of a radiator, a CPU block, and a graphics card water cooler. It is incredibly quiet, almost inaudible. The cold plate is made of nickel-plated copper and offers excellent heat transfer. Due to the fine fin structure of the cooler bottom and the optimized water flow, the cooling performance is comparable to the best DIY water coolers on the market. No compromises have been made in terms of performance in favour of other features.Design and lightingThe Eisbaer Aurora Solo is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. The aRGB LEDs can be connected to any 3-pin 5V connector and controlled easily. The housing is decorated with a polar bear, through which the LEDs shine. The Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora AIO CPU water cooler is a latest development of the popular and well-known Eisbaer cooler. Alphacool has improved many features but the ability to expand the cooler via the quick release fasteners and the famous high-quality copper radiators have been retained. The large capacity reservoir and the ability to refill the cooler has also been kept the same.The Heart of the AiOThe pump, CPU cooler and reservoir combo is the heart of the Eisbaer Aurora. The cooler base is made of high-quality copper and has a fine slotted structure. The surface area has been further expanded compared to the previous model to completely cover the larger DIE areas of AMD and Intel processors. The DC-LT pump has also been redesigned and is now almost 10% more powerful at a reduced noise level. The reservoir is many times larger compared to standard AIO systems ensuring a longer service life. In addition, the unit also has a fill port which can be used to refill if necessary. This is especially important if you want to extend the loop via the quick release fasteners.Custom Cooling Components!A great advantage of the Eisbaer Aurora series is the expandability via the aptly named ‘Eisbaer-Ready’ quick release fasteners. These have also been redesigned and are now smoother and more unobtrusive than those of the previous model. Nevertheless, these quick-release fasteners are 100% compatible with all Eisbaer Ready products such as prefilled radiators, the Eiswolf AIO water cooler for graphics cards and the well-known Alphacool HF quick-release fasteners, which are available separately for normal DIY water cooling systems. The fittings are from the Enterprise Solution series from Alphacool. They have a standard G1/4" thread and can be exchanged for any other fittings if you wish. The TPV hose is extremely resistant and is also used in the Enterprise Solution series for servers and workstations. Using custom cooling parts for an AiO means you get many more options than usual.Copper RadiatorAs usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer worldwide to use copper for all water-carrying components such as the end chambers, the cooling fins and the cooling channels to which the fins are soldered. Only the thread inserts are made of brass as copper is too soft for this application. The cooling fins are also only lightly painted. If you look closely, the copper even shimmers through. The reason for this is to ensure that the paint does not affect the cooling capacity, which would be reduced by too thick a coating. The fin density is at an optimal 15FPI, allowing the radiator to work perfectly at low airflow. A too high density would require faster, louder fans. Alphacool has chosen the golden number here as you can keep fans running slower and quieter whilst still getting fantastic performance.Fans and LightingThe entire Eisbaer Aurora cooler has been equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. The pump housing has an Eisbaer pattern all around which is fully illuminated. This gives a unique look when installed into a case. The Alphacool Aurora LUX Pro fans are also fully illuminated with 5V aRGB LEDs. The fan frame has a unique pattern with many small cut-outs that create a particularly elegant effect. You do not see individual LEDs and the lighting is much more interesting than a simple LED ring. Of course, all Digital RGB LEDs can be controlled as you like, such as via the motherboard or with a third-party controller. Depending on the controller almost all effects are possible.How to Connect EverythingThe fans are controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. To reduce the number of headers needed on the motherboard, Y-cable is included so that 2 or 3 fans can be ran from a single header. The RGB lighting is connected via a 3-pin JST connector. Each cable also has an integrated Y-adapter, so that the fans can be daisy chained very easily. A 3-pin 5V adapter is included in the package. This allows you to connect and control the fans to any mainboard with the appropriate connector. Alternatively, the included Digital RGB Controller can be used. The pump of the Eisbaer Aurora uses a 3-pin Molex connector. Above all, the expandability via quick connectors and the high-quality copper radiators remain core features. The large reservoir and the ability to refill the system are two more beloved features that have been retained. The heart is the cooler with its pump The cooler base is made of copper and features a fine slot structure. The surface has been enlarged compared to the previous model to fully cover the larger die areas of AMD and Intel processors. The DC-LT pump has also been redesigned and is now approximately 10% more powerful while operating even more quietly. The reservoir is many times larger than those found in conventional AIO systems, which ensures longer lifespan. In addition, the cooler unit features a fill port, allowing liquid to be added if necessary—especially useful when expanding the loop via quick connectors. DIY components wherever you look A major advantage of the Eisbaer Aurora series is its expandability through so-called Eisbaer-Ready quick connectors. These have also been redesigned to appear smoother and more discreet than those on the previous model. Despite the new design, they remain 100% compatible with all Eisbaer Ready products, such as pre-filled radiators, the Eiswolf AIO GPU water cooler, and the well-known Alphacool HF quick connectors available separately for standard DIY loops. Copper radiator As is typical for Alphacool, the radiators are made entirely of copper. Alphacool was the first manufacturer worldwide to consistently use copper in all water-carrying components—such as end chambers, cooling fins, and the soldered cooling channels. Only the connection threads are made of brass for technical hardening reasons. The cooling fins are only lightly coated, allowing the copper to subtly shine through when viewed closely. This is to avoid a thick layer of paint that could reduce cooling performance. The fin density is an optimal 15 FPI, allowing the radiator to work perfectly even with low airflow. A higher density would require faster fans, while a lower density wouldn’t benefit from higher fan speeds. Alphacool has found the perfect balance here. Fans and lighting The entire Eisbaer Aurora cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. The pump housing features a fully illuminated Eisbaer pattern all around, making it a true eye-catcher inside your case. The Alphacool Rise Aurora 120 mm fans are also fully lit with 5V aRGB LEDs. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. Reinvent the tube The Eisbecher Series consist of 20 different reservoirs that differ between usage, measurement and appearance. There are ten reservoirs within this series that consist of 99% plexi - totally unique! But the main difference between these reservoirs is within the functionality of the different sockets. Constituents Bubble DownIt is placed at the bottom of the reservoir to prevent turbulences that could lead air into the watercircle. Lighttower StandpipeThe "Lighttower" effect creates an astounding visual experience within every watercooling system. The Eisbecher supports this in two different ways: fluid coming from the bottom and coming from the top. The water is being led through the standpipe to the bottom or to the top where it splashes out of eight evenly distributed holes at the end of the pipe to the inner wall of the reservoir. This special watergame is the so called "Lighttower" effect. StandThe known feet from the "Eisdecken" find its very way even to the Eisbecher and sustain every combination with a solid stand. MountingsThere are two mountings placed above and under the pipe for fastening the lot in the casing. The holes in this mounting have a spacing of a 120/140 cooling fan.You can reduce the width of the mountings up to the width of the reservoir and there are three M4 threads availaible per mounting for fastening if you would rather not mount the reservoir at the fan space. These mountings are easily removeable especially when not being used. You will find these mountings on all 20 reservoirs. Lighting moduleThe lighting modules consist of plexi and enable the lighting with a 5mm LED. These modules can be installed into all 1/4" holes. They are being used in the lid and occasionally in the socket of the reservoir. This facilitates a unique way to your personalised lighting effects. MaterialAll models of the reservoir are availaible in acetal and plexi. So there is something for everone. Measurements All reservoirs are availaible in two different sizes: the 150mm version and the 10cm bigger 250mm version. The smaller reservoir comes with only one standpipe coming from the bottom because of its size and the bigger reservoir comes with two: one coming from the top and the other one from the bottom. Another positive side effect is that power consumption has been almost halved as a result. Compared to Alphacool's Eispumpe, the power is not supplied via a 4-pin Molex connector. The Alphacool Helix Eisbecher captivates with its unique Helix Optic, including elegant aluminium caps for its upper and bottom sides. The 60mm diameter version also offers a UV cathode tube to illuminate UV-reactive water from within. Highlights Helix Optic Four colour combinations Two diameter sizes - 50mm and 60mm 60mm version comes with UV cathode tube The Alphacool Eisbecher Helix 250 is the optical highlight of the Eisbecher family. The helix inside the reservoir gives off a unique effect reminiscent of a strand of DNA, making it a real eye-catcher. In the middle of the reservoir is a UV cathode tube powered over a 4-pin plug. If UV-reactive water is used, the cathode tube will create a strong glow from the inside of the reservoir, making for a unique effect that really impresses. The base and top are made entirely of acetal, but are covered with aluminium caps for an elegant look. The aluminium caps do not come in contact with the water, of course. The installation options are considerable, with three G1/4 threads in both the bottom and top. The bottom also has two extra G1/4 connection points. This gives you lots of options for positioning your reservoir. You'll also receive two different installation sets. One of them is well-known from the Eisbecher series - the aluminium brackets that lock flush with the top and bottom of the Eisbecher and provide the option of mounting on a radiator. This requires a 240 or 280mm radiator or a larger equivalent, such as a 360 or 420mm. The alternative installation set is a clip bracket, made up of two clips which are fastened to the case with one screw each. The Eisbecher Helix just needs to be clipped on, giving you lots of flexibility in how you mount it. The Eisbecher Helix is available in multiple colour combinations. The cap, bottom, and the helix itself can all be different colours.
