In Cascadia Junior, players take turns drafting habitat tiles and adding them to their environment. They must try to match the same habitats to grow their habitat corridors and score more points while creating groups of three wildlife icons on connected tiles. Once they make matches, they earn wildlife and habitat sighting tokens that they can add to their panorama board, where they will make their own personal picture of the Cascadian wilderness! At the end of the game, all players flip over their sighting tokens to discover the conifer cones they have collected. The player with the most cones wins! Cascadia Junior is a stepping stone game that will allow children to learn the basics of pattern matching. Do you understand what the cat wants? Try to get as close to the cat as possible without passing it by. Each round in Cat Between Us, you first draw a card from the deck, then place the cat token on the numbered space on the track matching the tiny number on the card. Shuffle the deck, then deal all players their current hand size. Starting with the player who won the previous round, players take turns playing one card at a time under the six items laid out on the table until each item has two cards below it. The sum of these two cards is the value of this item. Each player sums the value of each item remaining in their hand to determine where they should place their token on the track. Whoever is closest to the cat without passing it has won the round; multiple winners are possible. (If all players have passed the cat, whoever passed it least wins.) Winners move their personal token forward on their playing card, which indicates how many rounds they have won and how many cards they receive. Each time you win, you start the round with one more card in hand, making your next victory harder! Whoever first wins three rounds wins the game.

To begin the game, you build the game board using hexagonal terrain tiles. Catan is born - a beautiful island with mountains, pastures, hills, fields, and forests, surrounded by the sea. Each of you places two small houses on spaces where three terrain hexes meet. They are your starting settlements. And so it begins. The starting player rolls two dice. An “11!” Each terrain hex is marked with a number. Each player who owns a settlement adjacent to a terrain hex marked with the number rolled receives a resource produced by this hex. Hills produce brick, forests produce lumber, mountains produce ore, fields produce grain, and pastures produce wool. You use these resources to expand across Catan: you build roads and new settlements or upgrade your existing settlements to cities. For example, a road costs 1 brick and 1 lumber. If you do not have the necessary resources, you can acquire them by trading with your opponents. Each settlement is worth 1 victory point and each city is worth 2 victory points. Expanded in this edition. The Rivers of Catan – Originally released in the Atlantis scenario box, then subsequently in Games Quarterly magazine as “The Great River”. Expanded in this edition to include two rivers, one occupying 4 tiles, and one occupying 3. The Great Caravan – Originally released as a free expansion in Germany. Barbarian Invasion – New in this edition. – Barbarians are invading Catan and the players have to try to stop them with new knight pieces. This plays very similarly to the flood mechanic in the Atlantis scenario from the Atlantis and Das Buch scenario packs. Traders & Barbarians – New in this edition. – You get new hexes, one for the castle, one to produce glass, and one to produce marble. You try to rebuild Catan after the invasion. You get gold and victory points if you finish tasks in the castle, but to do so you have to travel back and forth to the castle on roads and undeveloped paths. There are still some barbarians around who interfere with trade routes.

Catapult Feud (original series was named, 'Catapult Kingdoms'), is a game of last person standing. Your objective is to knock down all your opponent's troops! Starting with the youngest player, choose your family: Chaufort or Cunningfields. Then, use your bricks to build a castle to fortify your troops. Using your catapult, launch boulders in an attempt to destroy your opponent's castle and knock over their troops. When all troops of one family are knocked over, the battle is over. The winning family must have at least one troop standing upright. The game is played in a series of rounds. During a round, starting with the youngest player, everyone takes a turn. Each player's turn is divided into four phases: Tactics, Aim, Fire and Cleanup. Perform these phases in order, finishing each one before moving to the next. When all players have had their turn, the round finishes. You keep on playing round after round until there is only one player with troops on the table. Warning! This is a game of construction/destruction of plastic bricks and figures... NOT your opponent, pets, or people who may foolishly pass through the field of battle! Please play fair and be careful not to hurt each other or damage anything... other than your opponent's attempt at a impenetrable fortress!
