<p style="text-align: justify;">The Eisschicht from Alphacool can, like other thermal pads, compensate for the irregularities of heat sinks and the elements to be cooled. But it has a great feature: The Eisschicht consists of thermal paste with an embedded mesh! This ensures that the performance of these pads is much more efficient than normal thermal pads, regardless of the low W/mK value. In addition, a better distribution and filling between the surfaces is achieved. This also results in better air displacement. Due to their soft consistency, there is also no pressure on components or solder joints. Nvidia also uses this kind of pads for the Founders Edition. The Eisstation can be screwed onto a 2.5” SSD bracket. It can also be mounted in a 3,5” bay. In either case, the special decoupling screws included with the Eisstation are used for mounting it. This minimises the transfer of vibrations to the case, lowering the operating volume significantly. Another installation option is the included Velcro fastener. One part of the Velcro is glued to the bottom of the Eisstation, while the other part is glued to the case. Then all that’s left is to press the Eisstation’s bottom against the corresponding Velcro on the case. The size of the Velcro ensures secure positioning even during transport. <br>The Eisstation can be mounted vertically or horizontally, depending on personal taste and available space.</p> <p><strong>Connection possibilities</strong><br>There are four possibilities for connection. An IN and an OUT with G1/4 threads are located on the top, with the illuminated logo. In the cap, there is one G1/4” and one G3/8” connection available. The G3/8” connection, with its larger size, simplifies filling the Eisstation and can also serve as a lighting module for 5mm LEDs. Two additional 5mm LED places can be found in the bottom of the reservoir and illuminate the water-filled portion from below.</p> <p>A highlight of the Eisstation is the materials it is composed of. The bottom portion has a high-quality soft-touch surface which gives it an outstanding look and feel. The upper portion and the reservoir itself are not made of simple, easily breakable Plexiglas, but rather of extremely sturdy Nylon. <p>Sleeved cables have become the norm for most modded computer builds and nothing is quite as good as when they’re hand made. The sleeved cables of most power supply manufacturers are usually loose, or you can see the original cable through the sleeve. This is not everyone's cup of tea. Many modders want a nice smooth and tight sleeve, preferably in a colour of their choice but to do this, you will need the correct tools. Alphacool now offers the Eistools Crimping Kit which has everything you need to create your own perfect cables.</p> <p>The crimping tools are safely stored in a foam insert inside a compact protective zipped case. This will ensure you can keep everything clean and tidy and makes it harder to lose anything.</p> <p>Several pin removers are included so that the cables can be easily removed from the individual connectors. These are compatible to remove all Molex terminals which can be found on a typical PC power supply. Therefore 3 different female extractors are included and a male extractor for the PCIe, ATX terminals and the 4 or 8 pin EPS connectors.</p> <p>Sharp side cutters have been included to allow you to cut wires to the desired length, whether you are shortening the original PSU cables or if you are creating your own, side cutters are always useful.</p> <p>To help you sleeve, particularly with paracord like our Alphacord range, the Alphacool Eisttols Crimping Kit comes with a special sleeving needle. The cable itself can be inserted at the rear end of the needle and then the sleeving needle is simply pushed through the sleeve together with the cable. This prevents the cable from sticking to the sleeve or even damaging it.</p> <p>If you have shortened or created your own cables, you will need to remove some insulation before crimping new terminals onto the wire. To do this you can use the automatic wire stripper that is included in the Eistools kit. With this stripper, you can determine contact pressure and the length of the insulation to be stripped and get the perfect result every time. This is basically child's play and can be done by anyone, even without prior knowledge.</p> <p>The crimping tool is required for the penultimate step. This is used to crimp the terminals you require onto the wire before you put them into the connector housing. You will need to purchase the terminals you need for your project separately as there are many different types. The Eistools set also includes alternative crimping jaws for terminals of different sizes. To change the crimping jaws, simply remove the two pins at the head of the crimping tool. Then you can simply insert the alternative crimping jaws and reattach them with the pins.</p> <p>The last step is the simplest one. The cables with the newly fitted terminals and sleeve only have to be plugged into the desired connector. The self-sleeved cable is ready. We recommend the Alphacool Alphacord as a sleeve. <p style="text-align: justify;">The Alphacool Eiswolf 2 is the first full cover GPU AIO waterblock from Alphacool. It is based on the Alphacool GPX Eisblock Aurora GPX water block, a pump unit and a 360mm NexXxoS ST30 full copper radiator. The latter is equipped with the Alphacool Aurora Rise Digital RGB fans.<br /><br /><b>Fullcover Waterblock?</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 graphics card AIO water block not only cools the GPU with liquid but also all relevant components that require active cooling. This includes the graphics memory, the VRM and, if necessary, other components that require direct cooling. By using the Eisblock GPX Aurora water cooler, the cooling capacity is identical to that of a DIY graphics card water cooler.<br /><br /><b>Pump</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 has a pump unit in place of the normal connection terminal. This pump unit houses the DC-LT 2 pump. An improved and quieter version of the well-known DC-LT Low Noise Ceramic Pump. Despite looking rather large, the pump unit is only 5 mm wider than a normal connection terminal.<br /><br /><b>Fittings and Tubing</b><br />As with all new AIO units, Alphacool uses only TPV hoses from the Enterprise Solution range for (usually reserved for servers and workstations) in the Eiswolf 2. The tubing is made of EPDM/PP and are extremely heat-resistant, durable, and free of plasticizers. All fittings are also based on the Enterprise Solution range and match the TPV hoses perfectly.<br /><br /><b>Expandability</b><br />By using the quick-release fastener, the Eiswolf 2 can be connected to another Alphacool AIO unit to achieve a larger loop in seconds. Alphacool offers various prefilled components with which the loop can be easily extended. For safety reasons, the quick-release fasteners are firmly screwed together and not just plugged together.<br /><br /><b>Lighting and fans</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 cooler has a digital RGB LED lighting, also called addressable RGB LEDs. They run along the entire back of the graphics card cooler and provide complete illumination of the water cooler. The pump unit is more discreet and offers a green glowing logo for Nvidia and a red glowing logo for AMD cards. The name "Eiswolf" on the pump unit remains unlit, discreetly in the background. The Lux Pro fans, as known from the Eisbaer Aurora series, are also used for the Eiswolf 2. They also have an extraordinary lighting with Digital RGB LEDs. <br /><br /><b>NexXxoS Radiator</b><br />As with all AIO units, Alphacool uses radiators from the world renowned NexXxoS series. The full copper radiators offer a much higher cooling capacity than aluminium radiators and have contributed significantly to Alphacool's worldwide success.<br /><br />The combination of all of the components results in a solution that is as simple as an AIO solution to install, but with the performance of a pre-assembled and prefilled custom loop.<br /><br />A suitable backplate can be found under the following article number: 12959<br /><br /><b>Technical note!</b><br />Due to long storage times and various transport routes, the liquid in the Eiswolf 2 AIO remains still for a long time. The ingredients of the liquid can therefore deposit and lead to a brownish discoloration. As soon as the pump starts operating, the ingredients mix again and the liquid should regain an approximately clear color. This is not a reason for complaint as neither the performance nor the function of the AIO are restricted by this. <p style="text-align: justify;">The Alphacool Eiswolf 2 is the first full cover GPU AIO waterblock from Alphacool. It is based on the Alphacool GPX Eisblock Aurora GPX water block, a pump unit and a 360mm NexXxoS ST30 full copper radiator. The latter is equipped with the Alphacool Aurora Rise Digital RGB fans.<br /><br /><b>Fullcover Waterblock?</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 graphics card AIO water block not only cools the GPU with liquid but also all relevant components that require active cooling. This includes the graphics memory, the VRM and, if necessary, other components that require direct cooling. By using the Eisblock GPX Aurora water cooler, the cooling capacity is identical to that of a DIY graphics card water cooler.<br /><br /><b>Chrome-plated copper</b><br />The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating. Chrome-plated coolers have previously only been used in the industrial sector in areas where extreme influences act on the coolers.<br /><br /><b>Pump</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 has a pump unit in place of the normal connection terminal. This pump unit houses the DC-LT 2 pump. An improved and quieter version of the well-known DC-LT Low Noise Ceramic Pump. Despite looking rather large, the pump unit is only 5 mm wider than a normal connection terminal.<br /><br /><b>Fittings and Tubing</b><br />As with all new AIO units, Alphacool uses only TPV hoses from the Enterprise Solution range for (usually reserved for servers and workstations) in the Eiswolf 2. The tubing is made of EPDM/PP and are extremely heat-resistant, durable, and free of plasticizers. All fittings are also based on the Enterprise Solution range and match the TPV hoses perfectly.<br /><br /><b>Expandability</b><br />By using the quick-release fastener, the Eiswolf 2 can be connected to another Alphacool AIO unit to achieve a larger loop in seconds. Alphacool offers various prefilled components with which the loop can be easily extended. For safety reasons, the quick-release fasteners are firmly screwed together and not just plugged together.<br /><br /><b>Lighting and fans</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 cooler has a digital RGB LED lighting, also called addressable RGB LEDs. They run along the entire back of the graphics card cooler and provide complete illumination of the water cooler. The pump unit is more discreet and offers a green glowing logo for Nvidia and a red glowing logo for AMD cards. The name "Eiswolf" on the pump unit remains unlit, discreetly in the background. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. static pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. In addition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm.<br /><br /><b>NexXxoS Radiator</b><br />As with all AIO units, Alphacool uses radiators from the world renowned NexXxoS series. <p style="text-align: justify;">The Alphacool Eiswolf 2 is the first full cover GPU AIO waterblock from Alphacool. It is based on the Alphacool GPX Eisblock Aurora GPX water block, a pump unit and a 360mm NexXxoS ST30 full copper radiator. The latter is equipped with the Alphacool Aurora Rise Digital RGB fans.<br /><br /><b>Fullcover Waterblock?</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 graphics card AIO water block not only cools the GPU with liquid but also all relevant components that require active cooling. This includes the graphics memory, the VRM and, if necessary, other components that require direct cooling. By using the Eisblock GPX Aurora water cooler, the cooling capacity is identical to that of a DIY graphics card water cooler.<br /><br /><b>Pump</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 has a pump unit in place of the normal connection terminal. This pump unit houses the DC-LT 2 pump. An improved and quieter version of the well-known DC-LT Low Noise Ceramic Pump. Despite looking rather large, the pump unit is only 5 mm wider than a normal connection terminal.<br /><br /><b>Fittings and Tubing</b><br />As with all new AIO units, Alphacool uses only TPV hoses from the Enterprise Solution range for (usually reserved for servers and workstations) in the Eiswolf 2. <p style="text-align: justify;">The Alphacool Eiswolf 2 is the first full cover GPU AIO waterblock from Alphacool. It is based on the Alphacool GPX Eisblock Aurora GPX water block, a pump unit and a 360mm NexXxoS ST30 full copper radiator. The latter is equipped with the Alphacool Aurora Rise Digital RGB fans.<br /><br /><b>Fullcover Waterblock?</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 graphics card AIO water block not only cools the GPU with liquid but also all relevant components that require active cooling. This includes the graphics memory, the VRM and, if necessary, other components that require direct cooling. By using the Eisblock GPX Aurora water cooler, the cooling capacity is identical to that of a DIY graphics card water cooler.<br /><br /><b>Pump</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 has a pump unit in place of the normal connection terminal. This pump unit houses the DC-LT 2 pump. An improved and quieter version of the well-known DC-LT Low Noise Ceramic Pump. Despite looking rather large, the pump unit is only 5 mm wider than a normal connection terminal.<br /><br /><b>Fittings and Tubing</b><br />As with all new AIO units, Alphacool uses only TPV hoses from the Enterprise Solution range for (usually reserved for servers and workstations) in the Eiswolf 2. The tubing is made of EPDM/PP and are extremely heat-resistant, durable, and free of plasticizers. All fittings are also based on the Enterprise Solution range and match the TPV hoses perfectly.<br /><br /><b>Expandability</b><br />By using the quick-release fastener, the Eiswolf 2 can be connected to another Alphacool AIO unit to achieve a larger loop in seconds. Alphacool offers various prefilled components with which the loop can be easily extended. For safety reasons, the quick-release fasteners are firmly screwed together and not just plugged together.<br /><br /><b>Lighting and fans</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 cooler has a digital RGB LED lighting, also called addressable RGB LEDs. They run along the entire back of the graphics card cooler and provide complete illumination of the water cooler. The pump unit is more discreet and offers a green glowing logo for Nvidia and a red glowing logo for AMD cards. The name "Eiswolf" on the pump unit remains unlit, discreetly in the background. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. In addition, it offers a zero control. <p style="text-align: justify;">The Alphacool Eiswolf 2 is the first full cover GPU AIO waterblock from Alphacool. It is based on the Alphacool GPX Eisblock Aurora GPX water block, a pump unit and a 360mm NexXxoS ST30 full copper radiator. The latter is equipped with the Alphacool Aurora Rise Digital RGB fans.<br /><br /><b>Fullcover Waterblock?</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 graphics card AIO water block not only cools the GPU with liquid but also all relevant components that require active cooling. This includes the graphics memory, the VRM and, if necessary, other components that require direct cooling. By using the Eisblock GPX Aurora water cooler, the cooling capacity is identical to that of a DIY graphics card water cooler.<br /><br /><b>Chrome-plated copper</b><br />The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating. Chrome-plated coolers have previously only been used in the industrial sector in areas where extreme influences act on the coolers.<br /><br /><b>Pump</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 has a pump unit in place of the normal connection terminal. This pump unit houses the DC-LT 2 pump. An improved and quieter version of the well-known DC-LT Low Noise Ceramic Pump. Despite looking rather large, the pump unit is only 5 mm wider than a normal connection terminal.<br /><br /><b>Fittings and Tubing</b><br />As with all new AIO units, Alphacool uses only TPV hoses from the Enterprise Solution range for (usually reserved for servers and workstations) in the Eiswolf 2. The tubing is made of EPDM/PP and are extremely heat-resistant, durable, and free of plasticizers. All fittings are also based on the Enterprise Solution range and match the TPV hoses perfectly.<br /><br /><b>Expandability</b><br />By using the quick-release fastener, the Eiswolf 2 can be connected to another Alphacool AIO unit to achieve a larger loop in seconds. Alphacool offers various prefilled components with which the loop can be easily extended. For safety reasons, the quick-release fasteners are firmly screwed together and not just plugged together.<br /><br /><b>Lighting and fans</b><br />The Eiswolf 2 cooler has a digital RGB LED lighting, also called addressable RGB LEDs. They run along the entire back of the graphics card cooler and provide complete illumination of the water cooler. The pump unit is more discreet and offers a green glowing logo for Nvidia and a red glowing logo for AMD cards. The name "Eiswolf" on the pump unit remains unlit, discreetly in the background. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. static pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. In addition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm.<br /><br /><b>NexXxoS Radiator</b><br />As with all AIO units, Alphacool uses radiators from the world renowned NexXxoS series. The full copper radiators offer a much higher cooling capacity than aluminium radiators and have contributed significantly to Alphacool's worldwide success.<br /><br />The combination of all of the components results in a solution that is as simple as an AIO solution to install, but with the performance of a pre-assembled and prefilled custom loop.<br /><br /><b>Technical note!</b><br />Due to long storage times and various transport routes, the liquid in the Eiswolf 2 AIO remains still for a long time. The ingredients of the liquid can therefore deposit and lead to a brownish discoloration. As soon as the pump starts operating, the ingredients mix again and the liquid should regain an approximately clear color. This is not a reason for complaint as neither the performance nor the function of the AIO are restricted by this.
