Reinvent the tube The Eisbecher Series consist of 20 different reservoirs that differ between usage, measurement and appearance. There are ten reservoirs within this series that consist of 99% plexi - totally unique! But the main difference between these reservoirs is within the functionality of the different sockets. Constituents Bubble DownIt is placed at the bottom of the reservoir to prevent turbulences that could lead air into the watercircle. Lighttower StandpipeThe "Lighttower" effect creates an astounding visual experience within every watercooling system. The Eisbecher supports this in two different ways: fluid coming from the bottom and coming from the top. The water is being led through the standpipe to the bottom or to the top where it splashes out of eight evenly distributed holes at the end of the pipe to the inner wall of the reservoir. This special watergame is the so called "Lighttower" effect. StandThe known feet from the "Eisdecken" find its very way even to the Eisbecher and sustain every combination with a solid stand. MountingsThere are two mountings placed above and under the pipe for fastening the lot in the casing. The holes in this mounting have a spacing of a 120/140 cooling fan.You can reduce the width of the mountings up to the width of the reservoir and there are three M4 threads availaible per mounting for fastening if you would rather not mount the reservoir at the fan space. These mountings are easily removeable especially when not being used. You will find these mountings on all 20 reservoirs. Lighting moduleThe lighting modules consist of plexi and enable the lighting with a 5mm LED. These modules can be installed into all 1/4" holes. They are being used in the lid and occasionally in the socket of the reservoir. This facilitates a unique way to your personalised lighting effects. MaterialAll models of the reservoir are availaible in acetal and plexi. So there is something for everone. Measurements All reservoirs are availaible in two different sizes: the 150mm version and the 10cm bigger 250mm version. The smaller reservoir comes with only one standpipe coming from the bottom because of its size and the bigger reservoir comes with two: one coming from the top and the other one from the bottom. The Eisbecher There are two additional versions for everyone that would rather operate the pump seperately. The Bubble Down and depending on the size one or two standpipes that fascilitate the "Lighttower" effect and two lighting modules one from the top and the other one from the bottom are being used here. And there are additional three LED holes for the plexi version to maximize the lighting power. PumpThe VPP Apex pump does without a spherical bearing and uses a ceramic shaft. The motor's coils have been moved from the inside to the outside. These changes have the effect that the pump is fundamentally more stable and smoother running, and any vibrations that arise have been significantlyreduced. Another positive side effect is that power consumption has been almost halved as a result. Compared to Alphacool's Eispumpe, the power is not supplied via a 4-pin Molex connector. Instead, the Apex VPP pump is connected to the power supply using a SATA connector. The Apex VPP pump has a 4-pin fan connector that connects to the motherboard or to an external controller. This allows you to control the speed range of the pump via PWM and read out the RPM signal. PumpThe VPP655 pump is ideal for PC and other electronics water cooling. The DC pump is equipped with an electronically commutated spherical motor. In a pump with a spherical motor the only moving part is a spherically shaped rotor which in this pump is held in place by a bearing ball made of ultra-hard and wear-resistant ceramic. The spherical bearing of the rotor offers many advantages: For example an increase of bearing play is impossible due to the design, allowing the pump to run quietly and smoothly over its whole lifespan. A separate magnetic shielding of the pump is not needed. The Alphacool Helix Eisbecher captivates with its unique Helix Optic, including elegant aluminium caps for its upper and bottom sides. The 60mm diameter version also offers a UV cathode tube to illuminate UV-reactive water from within. Highlights Helix Optic Four colour combinations Two diameter sizes - 50mm and 60mm 60mm version comes with UV cathode tube The Alphacool Eisbecher Helix 250 is the optical highlight of the Eisbecher family. The helix inside the reservoir gives off a unique effect reminiscent of a strand of DNA, making it a real eye-catcher. In the middle of the reservoir is a UV cathode tube powered over a 4-pin plug. If UV-reactive water is used, the cathode tube will create a strong glow from the inside of the reservoir, making for a unique effect that really impresses. The base and top are made entirely of acetal, but are covered with aluminium caps for an elegant look. The aluminium caps do not come in contact with the water, of course. The installation options are considerable, with three G1/4 threads in both the bottom and top. The bottom also has two extra G1/4 connection points. This gives you lots of options for positioning your reservoir. You'll also receive two different installation sets. One of them is well-known from the Eisbecher series - the aluminium brackets that lock flush with the top and bottom of the Eisbecher and provide the option of mounting on a radiator. This requires a 240 or 280mm radiator or a larger equivalent, such as a 360 or 420mm. The alternative installation set is a clip bracket, made up of two clips which are fastened to the case with one screw each. The Eisbecher Helix just needs to be clipped on, giving you lots of flexibility in how you mount it. The Eisbecher Helix is available in multiple colour combinations. The cap, bottom, and the helix itself can all be different colours. This perfectly describes the Aurora Acryl GPX EisblockMore Performance!During the development of the EIsblock Aurora GPX graphic card GPU block, we wanted to further increase the performance. The first step was to move the cooler closer to the individual components byreducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. Next, we reduced the thickness of the nickel-platedcopper block. Instead of 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow inside the cooler has alsobeen optimized. All important components such as the voltage transformers and the memory are nowsignificantly better and more effectively cooled by the water. All this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance.New Design!The Eisblock Aurora GPX cooler has been designed so that lighting is more important than the previousmodels. The addressable digital RGB LEDs are embedded directly into the cooling block and run alongthe entire cooling block. The effect is an illumination of the entire cooling block. No corner or edge remains unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular with all edges bevelled. This promotesbetter light diffusion in the water cooler due to the reflections on these bevels. In addition, they createvarious contours, which give the Aurora GPX Eisblock cooler its very own unique identityCopper or Aluminium?Of course, Alphacool only uses copper for its water coolers.
