Foam gasket for graphics chips RTX 4090 / 5080 / 5090, protection against electrically conductive thermal interface materials The TG GPU Guard is a highly compressible foam gasket designed for the graphics chips (GPUs) of graphics cards. It protects electronic components when using liquid metal or other electrically conductive thermal interface materials and simultaneously extends the lifespan of the liquid metal. The TG GPU Guard covers the surface-mounted devices (SMDs) next to the graphics chip and is slightly higher than the graphics chip itself. The highly compressible base material has a height of 0.8mm and can be compressed down to 0.15mm, easily compensating for height differences of the SMDs. When the cooler is mounted, the pressing force completely fills the height difference between the PCB and the cooler with the foam gasket, preventing liquid metals (or other thermal pastes) from flowing onto other components on the PCB. Additionally, the foam gasket prevents oxygen from reaching the liquid metal, which increases its durability. The TG GPU Guard is gallium-resistant. The NVIDIA variant includes three gaskets each for the graphics chips of the GeForce RTX 5090, GeForce RTX 5080, and GeForce RTX 4090.
