The model belongs to the UR8DS series and uses a panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a native refresh rate of up to 180 Hz. Thanks to this, it combines home theater functions with solutions intended for demanding gamers. The most important feature of the 55UR8DS is the RGB MiniLED technology. Unlike classic LED backlighting, in which white light passes through color filters, Hisense's solution uses independently controlled red, green and blue light sources. This allows you to generate color already at the backlight level and achieve coverage of up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space. In practice, it means more saturated, but at the same time more precise shades, especially visible in HDR materials, animations, nature films and games. The Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor is responsible for image analysis. It simultaneously controls brightness and three basic color components and optimizes individual areas of the image in real time.
