Limited Lifetime Guarantee Register your product to take advantage of Lifetime Limited's lifetime warranty. A new dimension in Managed Smart Switches Expandable network with high-performance 10-gigabit stackable switches to increase productivity and uptime. x8 Eight connected switches form a redundant stack with up to 384 gigabit ports. 188Gbps High throughput data transfer between connected devices at up to 188 Gbps. x4 Four 2.5G PoE ports (PoE models), ideal for Wi-Fi 6 access points. High availability Simplification of management and cabling increases the efficiency and reliability of the network. Physical stacking up to 8 switches with a total bandwidth of 80G. Designed with Wi-Fi 6 in mind The multi-gigabit 2.5G ports on the DGS-1520 series PoE switches eliminate potential bottlenecks in connecting to WiFi 6 gigabit access points. Touchless deployments For multi-site network expansion, the latest firmware and network configurations for the DGS-1520 series switches can be downloaded without the need to involve on-site IT personnel, making deployments easier and faster. Advanced L2 and L3 features Advanced, selected software features - Q-in-Q, VRRP, RIP and OSPF enable adaptation to changes in the network. For businesses with increasing bandwidth and network expansion requirements, the DGS-1520 series switches are a cost-effective upgrade option with 10-gigabit connections for network infrastructure. Hybrid staking Stack up to eight DGS-1520 switches using 10GBASE-T copper and/or SFP+ fiber ports. Hybrid stacking support increases cabling capability and lower cost by using copper instead of fiber. Simplified management Centrally manage multiple large networks with wired or wireless devices using D-View 7 to reduce cost and maintenance. There is also a D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) available to simplify setup and management of smaller networks.

Description:

The 850nm Multi-Mode SFP+DEM-431XT transceiver is designed for efficient operation over distances of up to 550 metres. The DEM431XT supports full duplex with 10-gigabit transfers over multi-mode fibre cables. The DEM-431XT is compatible with 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR and supports 802.3x full-duplex flow control. The DEM-431XT provides the necessary signal amplification for data transfer from the port to, and from the network cable.

Affordable solution for 10G fibre connectivity

Higher port density for 10G connections, thanks to low form factor

Lower power dissipation

Interchangeable without interrupting operation

Compatible with Ethernet 802.3ae

Compatible with MSA (Multiple Source Agreement) fibre

Supporting 10G Ethernet and plugged into the SFP+ sockets of switches, D-Link's 10G SFP + transceivers are interchangeable without interruption of service. The 10GBASE QSFP+ transceivers offer customers a wide range of 10G Ethernet connections in data centres, wiring wardrobes and service providers.

Improved Small Form-Factor format with connectivity

The transceiver uses the SFP+ (Enhanced Small Formfactor Pluggable) format. SFP+ is smaller than solutions such as Xenpak, X2 and 10G XFP, with lower cost, less power interference and higher port density. The DEM-431XT provides the necessary signal amplification for data transfer from the port to, and from, the network cable.

Interchangeable without interrupting service

All D-Link modules are interchangeable without interrupting operation. The transceiver can be connected while the system is switched on, causing no problems. This allows modules to be added or removed without affecting operation.

10G Ethernet speed

All modules support 10G Ethernet, which translates into very fast transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. This is 10 times faster than Gigabit Ethernet, enabling the switches to support faster and larger data transmissions suitable for business requirements.

Accessories included:

10pcs transceivers

Designation:
CE+WEEE
