The Flex 2 from Fractal Design consists of a vertical graphics card holder (white), a 195mm long PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable (black), and the required mounting materials. The Flex 2 is compatible with ATX cases that have bridgeless expansion slot covers (there must be no bridges between the slot covers at the back of the case). Compatible cases include, for example, North, Focus 2, Define 7, Meshify 2, Torrent, as well as many others. The Flex 2 offers full PCIe 4.0 x16 support and is suitable for full-length GPUs with brackets for up to 4 slots and coolers of any size. It positions the GPU at a distance from the side panel. With captive thumbscrews, it is very easy to install.

The innovative layout enables uninterrupted airflow inside while also allowing broader support for cooling components. At the same time, hardware installation is even more convenient and easier. A special feature of this case is its modularity: a wide range of upgrades, including a USB-C Upgrade Kit or additional drive space, allows you to optimally upgrade the ATX case for individual requirements. An untinted tempered glass side panel offers a great view of your installed hardware. Optimized for airflow The interior layout of the Focus 2 is optimized for airflow. Two 140 mm fans at the front ensure strong air exchange and prevent heat buildup. The front also features easy-to-clean mesh dust filters that protect the interior of your case from dust and dirt. This ensures improved temperatures and also benefits the longevity of your valuable hardware. The airflow case offers enough space for graphics cards up to 405 mm in length, while CPU coolers should not exceed a height of 170 mm. In addition, the case offers space for up to seven optional expansion cards. Space for drives and cooling options The Focus 2 offers space for up to two 2.5-inch drives and two 3.5-inch drives in total. With a separately available upgrade kit, it is even possible to create space for up to six 2.5-inch drives. The 2.5-inch drives can be mounted tool-free behind the motherboard using SSD clips. 3.5-inch drives can be installed on the back of the panel next to the motherboard tray. To cool your hardware, you have the option of installing additional case fans. The top has space for two fans in either 120 mm or 140 mm format. If desired, the pre-installed front fans can be replaced with three 120 mm fans. An additional 120 mm fan can be mounted at the rear of the case. Fans of water cooling can install a 360 mm radiator in the front or fit a 240 mm radiator in the top. Please note that when installing a radiator in the top, the RAM should not exceed a height of 46 mm. The rear of the case offers space for another small 120 mm radiator. Simplified cable management and modern I/O panel At the back of the motherboard, you have a full 19 mm of space for cable management. Additional cable clips make routing and organizing cables easier. In addition to two USB 3.0 ports, the I/O panel also offers inputs for audio jack plugs. With the separately available upgrade kit, you can upgrade your Focus 2 with USB-C ports and tailor it fully to your needs.
