Lisboa is a thematically rich, resource management game about the reconstruction of the great Portuguese capital city after a series of terrible catastrophes in the 18th Century. On November 1, 1755, Lisboa suffered an earthquake of an estimated magnitude of 8.5 to 9.0, followed by a devastating tsunami, and three days of raging fires. The city was almost totally destroyed. The Marquis of Pombal, Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, was then the minister of foreign affairs. The King put him in charge of the reconstruction of Lisboa. The Marquis gathered a team of engineers and architects to aid him in this reconstruction. Lisboa is played on a genuine map of the city. During the planning of the downtown rebuilding project, the type of businesses permitted on each street was pre-determined. The clockmakers and goldsmiths had their street; as did the bookstores and libraries; the tailors and silk vendors; and the toolmakers as well. This all comes into play on the Lisboa gameboard. You are members of the nobility, and you will use your influence in the reconstruction and business development of the new city. Using your limited hand of cards, you will work with builders and architects to build Lisboa anew, while the Marquis develops the commerce and the King oversees the politics of re-opening the beautiful new city. They are computerized machines that use AI to improve safety and in the near future will provide autonomous driving. In Kanban EV, you will be overseeing the production of these vehicles. Throughout the game, players take on the role of rookie employees trying to secure their careers. You must make shrewd use of the recycling facilities and the limited factory supplies in order to appropriate parts when the suppliers come up short. Players take turns building a salad of veggies and collecting point cards in order to score the most points for the ingredients in their salad! Setup Based on the number of players, count out or remove the following number of each of the 6 veggie cards from the game (without looking at the point card backs. Place any removed cards back inside the box so that players do not see which point cards have been removed. Multiple Rounds! My City is a unique, family-oriented legacy gaming experience that is played in relatively short episodes. Our planet has run out of resources, and we are forced to move. We have discovered a series of planets and sent our rovers to test their environment with the hope of colonization. Our rovers have confirmed 1-6 viable colonization options. Planet Unknown is a competitive game for 1-6 players in which players attempt to develop the best planet. Each round, each player places one polyomino-shaped, dual-resource tile on their planet. Each resource represents the infrastructure needed to support life on the planet. Every tile placement is important to cover your planet efficiently and also to build up your planet's engine. After placing the tile, players do two actions associated with the two infrastructure types on the tile. Some tile placements trigger "meteors" that make all planets harder to develop and prevent them from scoring points in the meteor's row and column. Planet Unknown innovates on the popular polyomino trend by allowing simultaneous, yet strategic turn-based play via the Lazy S.U.S.A.N. space station in the center of the table.
