Backplate Every cooler now includes a backplate which uses little passive cooling fins to cool the graphics card again, as well as giving the graphics card a finished appearance and protecting it at the same time. Cooling fins Passive cooling happens through perfectly balanced, barely 18mm deep cooling fins, which completely cover the remaining parts of the graphics card. Light air circulation in the case means this cooler is in no way inferior to conventional coolers. In contrast to acrylic glass, which is often used for tube reservoirs, borosilicate glass is extremele hard and scratch-resistant, features superb thermal and chemical resistance and a very low thermal expansion. The glass tube of the 450 ml and 880 ml variants has an outer diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. Base and top of the aqualis reservoirs are made from Delrin and connected by a stainless steel tube. As a optical highlight, a fountain effect can be realized. If the return line is connected to the center connector of the reservoir, the water flows through the stainless steel tube to the top of the reservoir, where it is ejected through eight nozzles. In combination with illumination, this is a real eye catcher effect. A thin acrylic plate near to the bottom of the reservoir reduces air ingestion to a minimum. Alternatively, the return line can be connected to a lateral connector of the reservoir, the water then exits directly from the base part. For this configuration, a deflector plate is included in delivery to ensure can be installed to effectively remove air from the water circuit. The aqualis PRO 450/880 ml variants additionally feature an acrylic window in the base part and up to six LEDs (5 mm size) can be installed into the base part. The PRO variants can be upgraded with an electronic fill level sensor at a later date. The aqualis XT 450/880 ml variants feature the same acrylic window and LED mounting as the PRO variants. Additionally, the XT variants feature an electronic fill level sensor with USB and aquabus interface, a programmable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input. For monitoring and configuration, the aquasuite software can be downloaded free of charge. In addition to the USB interface, the 4-pin aquabus interface can be used to directly connect the fill level sensor to an aquaero 5 controller (not included in delivery). The alarm output can be configured to be used as a rpm signal to be connected to a fan connector with fault detection (for example motherboard fan headers) or to be used as a switched output for example to connect a LED. Fill level and external temperature sensor input can be configured to raise an alarm. The external temperature sensor input is compatible with all Aqua Computer temperature sensors. Aquacomputer kryographics for Radeon R9 Fury X acrylic glass edition
Combined GPU/RAM/VRM-cooler for graphics cards of the type Radeon R9 Fury X with 4GB HBM according to reference design. This cooler combines the features of a graphics chip cooler and RAM-coolers in an elegant and very flat watercooler. Additionally the voltage regulators are also cooled effectively. The kryographics for R9 Fury X water block offers outstanding cooling performance and a low flow resistance. All mounting threads are equipped with spacers for easy installation and to prevent twisting the graphics card. The areas contacting the GPU and HBM modules are polished for excellent heat transfer. For the voltage regulators, a thermal pad with high thermal conductivity is included. The kryoconnect water block series features a delrin connection terminal that has a significantly reduced flow resistance compared to the previous aquagraFX series. The terminal is fastened to the water block by three screws and has G1/4 inlet and outlet ports on each side for flexible installation. Two sealing screws are supplied to seal the unused connection threads. The terminal can be replaced with kryoconnect kits for SLI configurations (art. no. 23551, 23552 or 23553, not included in delivery). The classic Alphacool NexXxoS GPX cooler combines high quality with excellent cooling performance. Every NexXxoS GPX cooler comes with a backplate that not only serves the optics but also actively increases the cooling performance. Powerful GPU Cooling! The well-known GPX-Solo GPU cooler is the foundation of the NexXxoS GPX cooler. It is equipped with the latest nozzle technology in combination with a nickel-plated copper cooling plate that has cooling fins that are arranged in a cross-slot structure. This design allows fast heat transfer from the GPU via the cooling plate to the water. The Voltage Transformers Are Passively Cooled? At first glance, the large aluminium cooler with its fins up to 18 mm high is a passive heat sink. But that's not quite true. In fact, the Alphacool NexXxoS GPX cooler is a state-of-the-art hybrid cooler that also uses the air flow in the case for cooling. As well as this, thhe GPX-Solo cooler not only rests on the GPU, but also on the aluminium cooler. The direct contact allows the heat from the aluminium body to be cooled with water. This means that the voltage converters and graphics memory are not only passively cooled. Rather, the water flow in the GPX Solo is used to actively support the aluminium cooler in cooling the remaining components. Thus, the voltage converters and the graphics memory achieve significantly better temperatures than any air cooler. To put the cherry on the cake, fluid never touches the aluminium, so there is never any problems! Is the Backplate Included? Yes, the backplate is always included with the Alphacool NexXxoS GPX coolers. The backplate is not only used to stabilize the PCB but it is also in direct contact with the backplate via thermal pads. The fine cooling fins on the back of the backplate support the cooling of the graphics card. Is Sli Operation Possible? Alphacool offers a whole range of GPX SLI adapters for the NexXxoS GPX coolers. There are different sizes for different distances of the graphics cards. SLI connectors for three or four graphics cards are also available.
