Otherwise, installation will quickly become a frustrating experience if assembly fails on the wrong or too few connectors and is delayed due to this. The design is solid and has a sealing ring. Thus, the connections remain tight and ensure high long-term durability. This is a straight and black nickel-plated G1 / 4 "fitting for 1/2" or 13mm ID tubing in Real Hi-Flow design. Since no union nut is used, any tube thickness and thus outer diameter can be used. To fix the hoses on the connection, we recommend a cable tie or a hose clamp as a precaution. Note: We recommend a 15mm spanner for installation and disassembly of the connection. The aqualis ECO series reservoirs are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube which, unlike the acrylic glass commonly used for tube reservoirs, has very high hardness and scratch resistance, very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube has an outer diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, the lid and bottom are connected by a nickel-plated brass tube. A visual highlight is the integrated water column effect. If the return line is connected to the central connection of the aqualis, the water flows through the central brass tube to the cover and exits through eight openings, which is a real eye-catcher especially in connection with lighting. A thin acrylic sheet close to the bottom of the aqualis minimizes air entry into the circuit. Alternatively, the return can be connected to a side port, the water then flows back from the ground into the surge tank. For this configuration, a baffle is included, which in turn ensures good ventilation of the circuit. The aqualis PRO variants also have an acrylic glass window integrated in the floor and can accommodate up to six LEDs (type 5 mm / not included)) and is additionally prepared for retrofitting a level measurement. Using the mount could not be easier. Just slide the mount onto the struts to the desired position and fix them in place using the lateral countersunk screws. The back of the mount has a M4 thread to screw the mount to the case wall. Vibration dampening montage is also possible. Decoupling modules are contained in the scope of delivery. With optional adapters the reservoir can be fixed into the mounting holes of 120x120mm or 140x140mm fans. This can attach the reservoir to a HTSF2 series radiator for example. Water and electronics are not known to be compatible.
