DEMCiflex Dust Filter 140mm Black/White DF0382Toote kirjeldus inglise keeles:If you open your PC again after half a year, perhaps to install new hardware, one wonders most of the time whether the Rechenknecht is not better to call a vacuum cleaner. What makes it easier on the one hand - imagine just how much more often the room would have to be cleaned if all the dirt was not collected as a precaution by the computer - means elsewhere consuming cleaning of the PC interior. In addition, dust in the housing is the main reason for overheating and thus for possible, unstable operation. Although a cleaning time-to-time can not be prevented, however, the effort can be significantly reduced. A simple and cost-effective solution are dust filters, which are placed in front of the sucking fans. Once installed, it is no longer necessary to dedust the entire interior with all its inaccessible corners and sensitive components, only the filters. DEMCiflex offers a particularly easy-to-retrofit solution, which in this case is suitable for 140 mm fans. Here, the filter is simply placed from the outside of the housing on the fan opening and is held there magnetically. There are therefore no screws or the like necessary, so there is no compatibility restriction. Since not all fan positions are magnetically attractive, an additional frame to the scope of delivery is glued to the back and on which the filter is held. The filter itself consists of a very tightly woven and durable polyester fabric. This special material is also used in clinics, for example to keep operating theaters dust-free. At the same time, the net is well permeable to air and therefore hinders the airflow only slightly. Of course, this effect diminishes with increasing dust, which is why the filter should occasionally be removed and cleaned. This is very simple in many ways. Firstly, it is easy to see if cleaning is necessary again - as soon as the white filter fabric has a gray haze, you should do this task. Due to the special mounting method, the removal of the fan is again very easy and fast. Afterwards, the dust can either be brushed, shaken, washed off and even scraped off with stubborn dirt. Finally, a few notes on the installation: First, the question arises, which fans have to be covered at all. As already mentioned, this applies exclusively to the sucking fans. But which are they? The safest way to recognize this is on the fan itself, with two arrows on the outside of the fan frame. If one of the two arrows points towards the interior, it is an aspirating fan. These are usually located on the front, side and bottom, whereas the rear and cover fans usually carry the air out of the housing and therefore need not be filtered. In order to maximize the filter effect, an overpressure in the housing can be generated. This means that more volume of air is forced into the housing than is being sucked out of the housing by other fans at the same time. This prevents air (and with it the dust) from entering the interior through other openings that may not have been filtered. If all fans are the same size, you should blow more fans into the housing than pull out. In this case, the power supply is to be counted as an additional, extracting fan, as long as it does not receive its supply (fan side) directly from the outside (occurs at floor mounting). If different fans with different sizes and speeds are used, the respective air volumes (m³ / h) in the data sheets give a good reference value, whereby in turn the total volume of the suction fans must be higher than that of the blowing out fans. Note: The area around the used fan slot should be flat if possible and have no protruding parts. Otherwise, these may impair adhesion to the substrate. Figure 4 shows an example configuration on a housing (not included). As can be seen, the use of LED fans is possible because the transparent material hardly hampers the lighting. With the Core Ocean AiO, Alphacool presents an all-in-one solution that, thanks to its excellent price-performance ratio, enables entry into performance-oriented CPU water cooling. The difference to the Eisbaer CPU AiO is that the Ocean All-in-One is not expandable. Adding further components such as GPU coolers, radiators or expansion tanks is not intended here. But also not necessary! The choice of components and the design of the Core Ocean enable a long service life with low maintenance for water cooling of all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. Aluminium Radiator Compared to Alphacool's full copper models, the T38 aluminium radiator has additional cooling channels. This technical design allows a significant increase in cooling capacity without restricting the water flow within the radiator. Due to the low height of 38mm, the radiator with single-sided fan assembly fits into the tightest case and enables high-performance water cooling of the CPU. Core fan The fan can be regulated from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connection. The cable is 40cm long. This allows the fan to be connected to the mainboard or a special controller without the need for additional adapter cables or extensions. At 2500 rpm, it provides an air flow of 62.8 CFM, together with a high static pressure of 2.13mm/H2O. This makes the fan perfect for mounting on radiators of a water cooling system. Cooler & Pump As with all Alphacool products, the radiator base is made of copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate ensures an accelerated flow over the cooling fins, which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimised so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly. The cooler is compatible with all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. The built-in pump has a speed range of 2500 - 3500 RPM (+/- 10%) and can be controlled via PWM. The pump is connected to the mainboard or to an external controller via the existing 4-pin fan connector. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and monitored. Hoses & Connections The FEP hoses are 40cm long, sleeved and very flexible. The rotatable 360° connections to the cooler and to the radiator are permanently installed and cannot be replaced. However, the combination of hoses and connectors allows a very variable positioning of the AiO even in the tightest PC case. Illumination 12 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs are installed in the pump housing, which create a unique, very noble-looking illumination. The digital aRGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector. The new premium fan series is based on the NB-Blacksilent-Chassis and is equipped with the excellent electronics module NB-EKA Plus and NB-NanoSLI bearings. Both are features that were so far used only in the more complex Multiframe series. Besides the technologically advanced components this fan is also equipped with an individually adaptive cable management. The new 4Pin PWM version can be controlled digitally in between a range of 600-1500rpm and is hence perfect for e.g. application on a CPU cooler. The fan is shipped with a newly developed mounting kit for vibration-free mounting which consists of an optimized "NB-Silentframe" silicone frame with suitable counter-pieces and knurled nuts for tool-free installation.
