The aqualis DDC 100 ml reservoir from aqua computer is designed for direct mounting to a Laing DDC pump not included in the delivery. For this purpose, the pump is attached only by means of a fastening ring and four screws in the base of the expansion tank. Separately available mounting rubbers can also be screwed into the base of the AGBs to allow mounting on the PC case. Alternatively, the pump and expansion tank can also be attached via the mounting tabs of the pump in the PC case. The container itself is made of high-grade borosilicate glass, which, in contrast to the acrylic glass often used for tube expansion tanks, has a very high hardness and scratch resistance, a very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube of this 100 ml version has an outside diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid, however, are made of Delrin, each have two G1 / 4-inch ports and are connected inside the tube by a stainless steel rod. This version is additionally provided with a nano-coating, which allows water to simply roll off the inside of the glass tube. This creates a cool visual effect that enhances the entire reservoir. With the Alphacool Eisbaer LT, you get a high-performance compact water cooling system that’s barely inferior to its bigger brother, the Eisbaer AIO. Just like the Eisbaer, the Eisbaer LT distinguishes itself from the usual AIO mix in that Alphacool relied on normal custom components as much as possible during development. This allows the Eisbaer LT to be expanded on not just with the Eisbaer Ready quick connectors but also with connectors using standard G1/4” threads. These can be replaced with other models at any time. Another highlight is the new 25mm thin Slim Radiator, made entirely of copper. Since copper has twice the heat capacity of aluminium, optimal cooling is guaranteed. Cooler and pump The cooler bottom is made entirely of copper and has an ultra-fine cross slot structure. Thanks to those cross slots and a sophisticated nozzle system, heat is absorbed extremely fast and transferred away from the CPU. The built-in DC-LT Ultra Ceramic Low Noise pump is an extremely quiet pump that Alphacool has used in many products. The pump is much stronger than what you’d usually find in AIOs. It can also be throttled with the optional 7V adaptor, decreasing the already low noise generation even further. The pump casing is very flat and the aluminium cap gives it a clean, elegant look. Fittings Alphacool relies on the standard DIY fittings you’d find in any standard water cooling system. Components are made entirely of high-quality brass and use a G1/4” thread. This means fittings can be exchanged easily, just like in a standard system. Maybe you want different tubing or want to switch over to HardTubes – your options are wide open. Quick connectors The Eisbaer LT’s quick connectors make it compatible with all other Eisbaer Ready products, like the Eiswolf GPX-Pro cooler or the Eiswand external radiator. Both products use the same pump – perfect for quickly and easily expanding the cooling loop. Alternatively, you can use the Extension Set or Alphacool HF Quick Connectors (available separately) to integrate other components into the system. Tubing The compact but standard 11/8mm tubing size was Alphacool’s go-to here. The tubing uses anti-kink springs in order to prevent kinks in the tubing. This makes it easy to lay tubing even in tight spaces, meaning the Eisbaer LT is easy to install even in compact cases. Radiator Alphacool has integrated a brand-new 25mm-thin Ultra-Slim Radiator. Unlike most AIO systems, Alphacool’s radiator is not made of cheap aluminium, but rather high-quality copper. With twice the heat capacity, copper significantly increases the radiator’s cooling performance. This is especially noticeable when you reach the performance limits of a radiator. While temperatures in aluminium radiators progressively rise fairly early, copper radiators can keep the temperature stable for much longer. Fans The Eiswind fans were specially designed for use in radiators and provide very high static pressure to force cool air through the radiator’s cooling fins. Both fans can be regulated via PWM over an enormous range of 550 to 1700 RPM. A PWM Y-adapter is included with the Eisbaer LT, so both fans can be connected to a PWM connection on your motherboard or a separate fan controller. At first glance, the Eisbaer LT looks like a typical CPU AIO solution, but a closer look elevates the Eisbaer LT far above the competition. Thanks to its copper radiator and cooling block, its cooling power is enormous, and the quick connectors and custom water cooling components make it easy to expand on. The airplex radical series combines some key features from the renowned airplex modularity series in a new design, radically reduced to function and performance. The result is a radiator of excellent quality for a competitive price. Just as the airplex modularity series, no welding is performed during production of the airplex radical series, preventing any welding residues inside the radiator. The coolant does not have contact to any other materials than seals, Delrin, copper and stainless steel.For an improved and easier installation process, the airplex radical series comes with threaded inserts made from nickel plated brass that protrude into the mounting holes of the fans. Therefore, fans are "automatically" correctly aligned to the threads - extremely convenient especially with large radiators! Additionally, this results in a deeper thread and the screw can be positioned farther away from the tubes and fins of the radiator, reducing the risk to damage the radiator by using too long screws. If the radiator is to be installed without fans, the inserts can also be installed upside-down resulting in a nearly flat surface, so there is no gap between radiator and PC case.Both sides of the radiator are equipped with slide rails for the threaded inserts and inserts for one side of the radiator are included in delivery. The cuplex kryos NEXT marks a new milestone in CPU water block development. Every detail has been analyzed, optimized and tested to achieve perfection in cooling performance, installation procedure and product features. The result is not just a CPU water block with outstanding performance - it is a product series with various models differing in color and functionality. The VARIO models are the first CPU water blocks globally to incorporate a real-time adjustable base - never before has it been possible to adjust the geometry of a CPU block to perfectly fit the CPU while the PC is in operation. Models with VISION module are equipped with modern electronics: High resolution OLED display, integrated water temperature sensor and USB interface are just three of the features.Base part with micro structureThe base part of the cuplex kryos NEXT is equipped with an extremely fine micro structure, the structural width is lower than 200 µm. The coolant is injected centrally through a slot-shaped nozzle and then runs to both sides of the structure. The base itself is manufactured from copper, nickel plated copper or .925 sterling silver depending on model.Retention systemThe cuplex kryos NEXT retention system consists of 2.5 mm thick stainless steel plates equipped with nickel plated spring cups. Springs and knurled screws secure the water block on the motherboard, the retention system has a very clean look when installed. All retention system versions feature a mechanical stop for optimum clamping force and even force distribution. The knurled screws can be installed by hand, additionally a hexagon socket wrench can be used for easy installation.Water blocks for socket 115x or AM3 include a steel back plate with silicone insulation to stabilize the CPU region of the motherboard. Socket 2011 or AM4 motherboards already include a back plate as part of the CPU socket, therefore no additional back plate is required.For optimum performance, every cuplex kryos NEXT ships with outstanding thermal compound. A syringe with 0.5 grams of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is included, complete with plastic spatula. This compound has a high thermal conductivity and spreads out thin and evenly between CPU and water block due to its low viscosity. With the “Eisbaer” Quick-Connect Extension Kit, expanding an “Eisbaer” or “Eiswolf” GPX-Pro cooler loop with additional components is simple. For example, it’s easy to add another radiator, an additional cooler or any other components. The kit consists of two 32cm-long hoses in 11/8 format, encased in anti-kink springs. This prevents bending in the hoses, and thereby prevents interruptions to the flow of water. Safety is our top priority. Two ends have 90° angled pieces, pre-installed on the hoses. The only thing you need to do is screw these into the corresponding G1/4” threads. On the other end are the ends of two quick-release safety locks from the Alphacool HF series, just like the ones found on the “Eisbaer” or “Eiswolf”. That means all you have to do is open the quick-release locks on the “Eisbaer” or “Eiswolf” and screw them together with the corresponding parts in this kit and an additional product for extension, and your loop is complete - after it’s been filled, of course. For that, this kit includes a squeeze bottle with 250mL of osmosis filtered water. With the squeeze bottle, the loop can easily be filled at the designated spots. On the “Eisbaer”, for example, this would be the fill port on the “Eisbaer” cooler.
