More Performance! During the development of the Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A Radeon RX 6700XT TUF/Rog Strix graphic card GPU block, we wanted to further increase the performance. The first step was to move the cooler closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. Next, we reduced the thickness of the nickel-plated copper block. Instead of 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow inside the cooler has also been optimized. All important components such as the voltage transformers and the memory are now significantly better and more effectively cooled by the water. All this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance. New Design! The Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A Radeon RX 6700XT TUF/Rog Strix cooler has been designed so that lighting is more important than the previous models. In order to dissipate the enormous heat of this graphics card generation in the best possible way, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous model. The fin structure was adapted and enables a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The modified jet plate with improved inflow engine ensures an optimal distribution of the water on the cooling fins. Technical Highlights The fin structure of this Eisblock cooler generation was developed together with Nvidia board partners. The fin thickness is 0.4 mm, the distance between the cooling fins is 0.4 mm. This ensures a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The jet plate has a revised inlay that spreads the water pressure better over the fins thus optimizing the heat absorption. The adjusted water inflow gives the water a better angle of inflow. Chrome-plated copper The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating. A quick-release connector can be used anywhere where expandability, flexibility, or cleanliness play a big role. The compact connectors have a 1/4” thread on both sides, making them compatible with all standard components. The connectors can be separated by pulling down the outer rings. Both sides immediately shut completely, so that no water can leak out. The special N.D.S.L. technology (no drip, no splash, no leak) ensures no water drips, splashes or leaks out while opening the connectors. When the pieces are reconnected, both sides audibly click together and are locked tightly with a double o-ring, which is simply pressed together when reconnecting. The Low Profile ES L-connector from Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS series with 1 G1/4" male thread and 1 G1/4" female thread offers the possibility to connect components like GPU and CPU coolers, reservoirs or radiators into a water circuit even in the tightest server case.UseThe Low Profile ES L-connector can be rotated 360°. Compared to Alphacool's conventional L-connectors, rotation is not made possible by turning the connector itself, but by a recessed, freely rotatable plug with a screw slot on the threaded opposite side of the connector. With the help of a screwdriver or the plug-in tool from Alphacool, the integration of water cooling elements is simplified, as the connector itself no longer needs to be rotated. The positioning of the connector is done using the adjustment options on the plug itself. This is particularly advantageous in tight server housings with little space available.
