Es handelt sich bei dem Produkt um die neue Revision. Diese Pumpe ist weltweit die erste Pumpe, die in serienmäßig produzierten wassergekühlten Workstations eingesetzt wird, und ist ideal für die Wasserkühlung von Prozessoren und elektronischen Bauteilen geeignet. Aufgrund ihrer Baugröße und Leistung kann die darüber hinaus in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungen eingesetzt werden. Diese DC-Pumpe ist eine elektronisch kommutierte Kugelmotorpumpe, mit Laufzeiten von deutlich über 50.000 Stunden bei 12 Volt. Das einzig bewegliche Teil an einer Kugelmotorpumpe ist eine sphärisch geformte Rotor-/Laufradeinheit, die sich auf einer ultraharten, verschleißfesten Keramik-Lagerkugel abstützt. Eine konventionelle Welle mit Wellenlagern und Wellendichtungen ist nicht vorhanden. Die sphärische Lagerung der Rotor-/Laufradeinheit auf der Keramik-Lagerkugel bietet eine Vielzahl von Vorteilen: Ein Entstehen von Lagerspiel - und damit eine Geräuschzunahme - ist prinzipbedingt nicht möglich. Da der Rotor magnetisch immer in der vorgesehenen Lage gehalten wird, stellen kleinere Schmutzteilchen kein Problem dar. Ein Blockieren der Pumpe ist im Normalfall nicht möglich. Auch nach längerem Stillstand ist ein sicherer Anlauf gegeben. Angetrieben wird die permanentmagnetische Rotor-/ Laufradeinheit von einem Magnetfeld, das vom umliegenden Stator erzeugt wird. Dieser ist komplett um den Rotor herumgebaut. Die komplette Pumpe ist damit mit 38 mm nur wenig höher als der Stator selbst. Sie passt damit problemlos in alle handelsüblichen PC-, Barebone- und Mini-PC Gehäuse. Eine separate magnetische Abschirmung ist im Normalfall nicht notwendig. The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora CPU AIO water cooler is a special development for processors with particularly large CPU dies. These include the AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors and the Intel CPUs for the LGA 3647 and LGA 4189 socket. With the optional XPX Pro AM4 mounting bracket, the Alphacool Eisbaer Pro CPU cooler can also be used on AMD Ryzen processors. Large cooling surface The cold plate bottom covers the entire surface of the respective processors. The area of the cooling fins exceeds all known processor cores with an area of around 55 x 42 mm. This ensures that all hotspots of a CPU are directly covered and thus optimally cooled. With the additionally available AM4 bracket, cooling an AMD Ryzen processor is also child's play. The cooling fins are 0.4 mm thick and also have an optimal distance of 0.4 mm between them. In total there are 58 cooling fins on the bottom of the cooler. The bottom of the cooler is only 3 mm thick, which allows the heat to reach the water and be dissipated as quickly as possible. Copper radiator As per usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer worldwide to use copper for all water bearing components such as the antechambers, the cooling fins and the cooling channels to which the fins are soldered. The connection threads are made of brass for strength reasons. In addition, the cooling fins are only lightly painted. On closer inspection the copper shimmers through a little. A thick lacquer coating would result in a reduction of the cooling capacity. The fin density is at optimal 15FPI. Therefore the radiator works perfectly even at low airflow. A too high fin density would require fans with higher speed to achieve the same cooling capacity. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast rotating fans. So the golden mean was chosen. Real water cooling The Eisbaer Pro Aurora consists almost entirely of actual water cooling components. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The hose connections also come from the Enterprise series from Alphacool and use the standard G1/4". This makes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora fully compatible with all common water cooling products. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. The most important of these are the prefilled radiators and the Eiswolf GPU AIO water cooling system. Fan and lighting The entire Eisbaer Aurora Pro cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. This gives a real eye-catcher in the Case. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 140mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. statistical pressure of 2.20 mm/H 2 O and offers a max. air flow of 154.1 m³/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. In addition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm. Of course all Digital RGB LEDs can be controlled at will. Depending on the controller almost all effects are possible. How to connect everything The fans are normally controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. An included Y-adapter for the fans makes it easy to connect them to the mainboard. This allows all fans to be controlled and regulated via one connector. Each fan has a 3-pin JST connector including Y-adapter for the LED illumination. This allows the fans to be connected directly together and can also be controlled simultaneously via a controller. For the connection to a typical 3-pin 5V connector a corresponding adapter is included. Alternatively, the included Digital RGB controller can be used. With the Core Ocean AiO, Alphacool presents an all-in-one solution that, thanks to its excellent price-performance ratio, enables entry into performance-oriented CPU water cooling. The difference to the Eisbaer CPU AiO is that the Ocean All-in-One is not expandable. Adding further components such as GPU coolers, radiators or expansion tanks is not intended here. But also not necessary! The choice of components and the design of the Core Ocean enable a long service life with low maintenance for water cooling of all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. Aluminium Radiator Compared to Alphacool's full copper models, the T38 aluminium radiator has additional cooling channels. This technical design allows a significant increase in cooling capacity without restricting the water flow within the radiator. Due to the low height of 38mm, the radiator with single-sided fan assembly fits into the tightest case and enables high-performance water cooling of the CPU. Core fan The fan can be regulated from 0 to 2000 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connection. The cable is 40cm long. This allows the fan to be connected to the mainboard or a special controller without the need for additional adapter cables or extensions. At 2000 rpm, it provides an air flow of 92.3 CFM, together with a high static pressure of 2.53mm/H2O. This makes the fan perfect for mounting on radiators of a water cooling system. Cooler & Pump As with all Alphacool products, the radiator base is made of copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate ensures an accelerated flow over the cooling fins, which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimised so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly. The cooler is compatible with all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. The built-in pump has a speed range of 2500 - 3500 RPM (+/- 10%) and can be controlled via PWM. The pump is connected to the mainboard or to an external controller via the existing 4-pin fan connector. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and monitored. Hoses & Connections The FEP hoses are 40cm long, sleeved and very flexible. The rotatable 360° connections to the cooler and to the radiator are permanently installed and cannot be replaced. However, the combination of hoses and connectors allows a very variable positioning of the AiO even in the tightest PC case. Illumination 12 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs are installed in the pump housing, which create a unique, very noble-looking illumination. The digital aRGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector. To control the lighting, the 3-pin female connector must be connected to a digital RGB controller (not included) or a digital RGB-capable mainboard. Additional digital RGB LEDs can be connected to the remaining 3-pin male connector. Thermal compound The thermal paste included in the delivery has a thermal conductivity of 7.5 W/mK. The thermal grease does not harden, is particularly suitable for high contact pressures and can be applied perfectly due to the optimally selected viscosity.
