The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora CPU AIO water cooler is a special development for processors with particularly large CPU dies. These include the AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors and the Intel CPUs for the LGA 3647 socket. With the optional XPX Pro AM4 mounting bracket, the Alphacool Eisbaer Pro CPU cooler can also be used on AMD Ryzen processors. Large cooling surface The cold plate bottom covers the entire surface of the respective processors. The area of the cooling fins exceeds all known processor cores with an area of around 55 x 42 mm. This ensures that all hotspots of a CPU are directly covered and thus optimally cooled. With the included AM4 bracket, cooling an AMD Ryzen processor is also child's play. The cooling fins are 0.4 mm thick and also have an optimal distance of 0.4 mm between them. In total there are 58 cooling fins on the bottom of the cooler. The bottom of the cooler is only 3 mm thick, which allows the heat to reach the water and be dissipated as quickly as possible. Copper radiator As per usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer worldwide to use copper for all water bearing components such as the antechambers, the cooling fins and the cooling channels to which the fins are soldered. The connection threads are made of brass for strength reasons. In addition, the cooling fins are only lightly painted. On closer inspection the copper shimmers through a little. A thick lacquer coating would result in a reduction of the cooling capacity. The fin density is at optimal 15FPI. Therefore the radiator works perfectly even at low airflow. A too high fin density would require fans with higher speed to achieve the same cooling capacity. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast rotating fans. So the golden mean was chosen. Real water cooling The Eisbaer Pro Aurora consists almost entirely of actual water cooling components. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The hose connections also come from the Enterprise series from Alphacool and use the standard G1/4". This makes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora fully compatible with all common water cooling products. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. The most important of these are the prefilled radiators and the Eiswolf GPU AIO water cooling system. Fan and lighting The entire Eisbaer Aurora Pro cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. This gives a real eye-catcher in the Case. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. In addition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm. Of course all Digital RGB LEDs can be controlled at will. Depending on the controller almost all effects are possible. How to connect everything The fans are normally controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. An included Y-adapter for the fans makes it easy to connect them to the mainboard. This allows all fans to be controlled and regulated via one connector. Each fan has a 3-pin JST connector including Y-adapter for the LED illumination. This allows the fans to be connected directly together and can also be controlled simultaneously via a controller. For the connection to a typical 3-pin 5V connector a corresponding adapter is included. Alternatively, the included Digital RGB controller can be used. The pump of the Eisbaer Aurora uses a 3-pin Molex connector. This can also be connected to the mainboard. The Eisbaer Pro Aurora is a true multi-talent. Expandable, fully compatible with DIY water cooling components and it is the optimal solution for the most powerful processors on the market. OPTIMISED FOR STATIC PRESSURE During the development of the new P8 PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P8 PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. MORE EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY The motor is powered by a Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the newest generation, which allows the new P8 PWM PST to run much more efficiently than its predecessors. This saves energy and lowers the coil temperature without comprimising the performance. MAXIMUM QUIETNESS, MINIMUM VIBRATION Even at low speeds the operating sound of the new ARCTIC motor is barely noticeable. Due to a sinus-magnetizing the new motor only creates about 5 % of the vibration from commutation of a regular DC-motor without filter. Consequently, there is no need for rubber spacers due to the steady and smooth torque of the new motor. EXTENDED LIFE SPAN A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan. The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. Therefore Arctic extends the warranty to 10 years. 200 TO 3000 RPM REGULATED VIA PWM PST Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM. In this way, noise is kept at a minimum while maximum cooling performance is guaranteed when needed. HIGH QUALITY BEARING Thanks to an alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. Due to the condensed internal structure, the number of water channels and copper fins could be increased. Thus, a larger volume of water is in direct contact with the cooling fins and the heat transfer is enormously improved. The higher number of fin rows and their shortening also makes much more efficient use of the cooling surface. Comparison tests with the conventional NexXxos radiator have shown that a performance increase of 4.5K is possible when using the HPE radiator. At higher ambient temperatures and higher fan speeds, the performance gap with the normal NexXxoS radiators even increases progressively, reaching a possible performance increase of up to 6K. Radiator & PumpAs with all Alphacool products, the radiator base is made of nickel-plated copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins that are distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate provides an accelerated flow over the cooling fins which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimized so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly. The Eisbaer LT Aurora cooler uses the very compact and small DC-LT 2 pump. It provides enough power to add another component such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator to the circuit.FanThe Alphacool Rise Aurora fan offers a wide control range as well as superior Digital aRGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the fan's special design create unique effects. The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. Additionally, it offers a Zero control, which allows the fan to be regulated down to 0 RPM and then starts at approximately 350 RPM. Product Details: Thermal Grizzly - Pro TG Putty Pro is a non-electrically conductive alternative to traditional thermal pads. This easy-to-apply and flexible material serves as a "gap filler," effectively compensating for height differences. It is an ideal replacement for thermal pads on graphics cards, where different pad thicknesses are typically used. When replacing pads or upgrading to a GPU water block, multiple thermal pad sizes are usually required. TG Putty can be applied using the included spatulas or by hand (gloves recommended). The spatula allows for smooth, even application over larger areas, while alternatively, the putty can be shaped into small beads that precisely fit components such as VRAM or SMDs. TG Putty can compensate for height differences ranging from 0.2 mm to 3.0 mm.
