Alphacools HardTube family does get an additional sibling. The new HardTubes made out of borosilicate glass certainly bring a new level of quality into every system. The previous method that has been most commonly used for water cooling systems is normal PVC hoses - now Alphacool introduces a new approach to water cooling. The Alphacool HardTube additionally brings more tidiness into the system which enables a further structured impression. The connection for 16mm (AD) Hard Tubes from EK Water Blocks, is a compression fitting made of nickel-plated brass. It is silver in colour and comes from the Torque series, which convinces with a simple and timeless design. Originally intended for the EKWB Quantum series, this fitting is also compatible with other EK products. In this fitting, the union nut serves as a compression ring, which presses the sealing ring onto the hard tube. It thus offers a higher level of safety and sealing than, for example, the fittings of the EK-HD series. As a small feature, the union nut has a recess under which coloured rings are placed, which provide a bit of individuality and are available separately. For perfect bends in the Alphacool HardTubes now there is the perfect solution. Simply insert the silicone inside the HardTube and heat the desired location. Thanks to the extremely heat-resistant silicone the pipe can be bent without the curved point kinking. After cooling, the silicone can be easily removed. Available for HardTubes with 10mm and 12mm inner diameter in each 30cm length for curves in short pipes and 100cm length for curves in longer pipes.
