Optimised for Static Pressure During the development of the new P14 PWM, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P14 PWM is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. More Efficient Technology The motor is powered by a Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the newest generation, which allows the new P14 PWM to run much more efficiently than its predecessors. This saves energy and lowers the coil temperature without comprimising the performance. Maximum Quietness, Minimum Vibration Even at low speeds the operating sound of the new ARCTIC motor is barely noticeable. Due to a sinus-magnetizing the new motor only creates about 5 % of the vibration from commutation of a regular DC-motor without filter. Consequently, there is no need for rubber spacers due to the steady and smooth torque of the new motor. Extended Life Span A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan. The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. Consequently, we have extended the warranty to 10 years. 200 to 1700 RPM regulated via PWM Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM. In this way, noise is kept at a minimum while maximum cooling performance is guaranteed when needed. The connection for 16mm (AD) Hard Tubes from EK Water Blocks, is a compression fitting made of nickel-plated brass. It is silver in colour and comes from the Torque series, which convinces with a simple and timeless design. Originally intended for the EKWB Quantum series, this fitting is also compatible with other EK products. In this fitting, the union nut serves as a compression ring, which presses the sealing ring onto the hard tube. It thus offers a higher level of safety and sealing than, for example, the fittings of the EK-HD series. As a small feature, the union nut has a recess under which coloured rings are placed, which provide a bit of individuality and are available separately. The Alphacool Rise fan offers a wide range of control as well as superior Digital RGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the fan's special design can create some unique effects whilst offering performance. Brilliant illumination There are 20 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs built into the frame and hub that illuminate the entire fan. This creates a unique illumination that looks very impressive. Thanks to the recessed light diffusers, the light is distributed evenly, and you will not see sporadic uneven lighting. Wide control range and silent The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. In addition, it offers a silent mode, with which the fan can be regulated down to 0 rpm and then they will only start when they are needed above 350rpm. At 800 rpm, the fan is nearly silent, but still offers a good airflow (118.9m3/h) paired with a high static pressure (3.17mm/H2O). This makes the fan perfect for mounting on radiators of a water cooling system or for alternatively, as a case fan. Decouplers are located directly on the corners of the frame. The soft foam pads reduce the transmission of vibrations to the case, which in turn reduces noise. Tear-off edges on the fan blades also provide a significant reduction in noise. Connectors? The fan is controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. The cable is 40 cm long. This allows the fan to be connected to the motherboard or a fan controller without the need for additional adapter cables or extensions. The digital aRGB LED illumination is controlled via a JST 3-pin connector and adapters are available to change this into a standard 3 pin aRGB connector if required. The new Eiszapfen PRO hard tube fittings from Alphacool are the next step in development for the familiar Eiszapfen fittings. In the development of the fittings Alphacool concentrated on a specific problem, deforming PETG hard tubes at high temperatures. PETG can start to deform at 60°C. Although such a temperature is usually rarely reached, it can still occur. The Eiszapfen PRO fittings prevent this problem from the outset and hold the tubes in position. The deformation is prevented by the new nylon inserts inside and stabilizes the hard tubes. Furthermore, the fitting still has an O-ring and a compression seal. However, the contact area is much larger than with normal O-rings, which provides a better grip. With the insert and the compression seal, the tube is strengthened from the inside and outside. Even under heavy loads the HardTube does not slip. Alphacool has tested the tensile strength of up to over 8kg, so there is no need to worry about loose tubing.
