Every water cooling system requires either soft or hard tubing to connect the individual components such as radiators, waterblocks and reservoirs. PVC is usually used for soft tubing it has many fantastic properties that make it easy to work with and it is cheap. However, Alphacool is now bringing a new material from the Alphacool Enterprise Solutions series across to the everyday user. This tubing is called Alphacool AlphaTube TPV and is the choice of tubing for industries. What is the advantage of TPV? Compared to PVC hoses, the AlphaTube TPV hoses offer various advantages for water cooling. It is much more resistant to acids and alkalis. It is also much more temperature resistant than PVC tubing. The Alphacool AlphaTube TPV can withstand temperatures up to 155°C. While PVC hoses begin to warp at higher water temperatures. This means areas with tighter bends will warp but the TPV hose remains stable in its shape. This eliminates the risk of kinks in tubing and the restriction of flow. How is AlphaTube TPV installed? The Alphacool AlphaTube TPV hose is as easy and simple to install as any other PVC hose. It is slightly stiffer, but only very slightly. Handling the TPV hose is just as simple as any other soft tubing. What is special about a tpv hose? The Eisbaer Aurora HPE Edition 360 CPU AIO water cooling features the extremely powerful NexXxos HPE Performance all-copper radiator equipped with the high-throughput Aurora Rise 120mm fans. All of the components used come from the classic DIY water cooling range and are also used for the most part in the enterprise products for servers. The Eisbaer LT Aurora can be expanded with additional components thanks to the quick-release fastener. Alphacool's Eisbaer Aurora HPE Edition 360 CPU AIO is a high performance all-in-one water cooling system that is as easy to install as an AIO, but offers the performance of a pre-assembled and pre-filled custom loop.New HPE Radiator!The NexXxos ST30 HPE Radiator uses the same materials as previous NexXxos models, but takes it a step further technically. Due to the condensed internal structure, the number of water channels and copper fins could be increased. Thus, a larger volume of water is in direct contact with the cooling fins and the heat transfer is enormously improved. The higher number of fin rows and their shortening also makes much more efficient use of the cooling surface. Comparison tests with the conventional NexXxos radiator have shown that a performance increase of 4.5K is possible when using the HPE radiator. Radiator & PumpAs with all Alphacool products, the radiator base is made of nickel-plated copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins that are distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate provides an accelerated flow over the cooling fins which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimized so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly. The Eisbaer LT Aurora cooler uses the very compact and small DC-LT 2 pump. It provides enough power to add another component such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator to the circuit.FanThe Alphacool Rise Aurora fan offers a wide control range as well as superior Digital aRGB LED lighting. The individually controllable 5V aRGB LEDs paired with the fan's special design create unique effects. The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. Additionally, it offers a Zero control, which allows the fan to be regulated down to 0 RPM and then starts at approximately 350 RPM. At 800 rpm, the fan is nearly silent, but still offers good airflow (118.9 m³/h) paired with high static pressure (3.17mm/H₂O).DIY connections and ES hosesThe hose connections are from the normal DIY segment and therefore use a G1/4" thread. Thus, it is very easy to replace them. The black TPV hose comes, like the connectors, from the Alphacool ES series which is primarily installed in servers and workstations. The hose does not contain any plasticizers and, unlike classic PVC hoses, does not deform at high temperatures. The quick connector is not made of heavy brass, but of extremely light, durable and robust nylon. With the Core Ocean AiO, Alphacool presents an all-in-one solution that, thanks to its excellent price-performance ratio, enables entry into performance-oriented CPU water cooling. The difference to the Eisbaer CPU AiO is that the Ocean All-in-One is not expandable. Adding further components such as GPU coolers, radiators or expansion tanks is not intended here. But also not necessary! The choice of components and the design of the Core Ocean enable a long service life with low maintenance for water cooling of all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. Aluminium Radiator Compared to Alphacool's full copper models, the T38 aluminium radiator has additional cooling channels. This technical design allows a significant increase in cooling capacity without restricting the water flow within the radiator. Due to the low height of 38mm, the radiator with single-sided fan assembly fits into the tightest case and enables high-performance water cooling of the CPU. Core fan The fan can be regulated from 0 to 2000 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connection. The cable is 40cm long. This allows the fan to be connected to the mainboard or a special controller without the need for additional adapter cables or extensions. At 2000 rpm, it provides an air flow of 92.3 CFM, together with a high static pressure of 2.53mm/H2O. This makes the fan perfect for mounting on radiators of a water cooling system. Cooler & Pump As with all Alphacool products, the radiator base is made of copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate ensures an accelerated flow over the cooling fins, which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimised so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly. The cooler is compatible with all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. The built-in pump has a speed range of 2500 - 3500 RPM (+/- 10%) and can be controlled via PWM. The pump is connected to the mainboard or to an external controller via the existing 4-pin fan connector. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and monitored. Hoses & Connections The FEP hoses are 40cm long, sleeved and very flexible. The rotatable 360° connections to the cooler and to the radiator are permanently installed and cannot be replaced. However, the combination of hoses and connectors allows a very variable positioning of the AiO even in the tightest PC case. Illumination 12 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs are installed in the pump housing, which create a unique, very noble-looking illumination. The digital aRGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector. To control the lighting, the 3-pin female connector must be connected to a digital RGB controller (not included) or a digital RGB-capable mainboard. Additional digital RGB LEDs can be connected to the remaining 3-pin male connector. Thermal compound The thermal paste included in the delivery has a thermal conductivity of 7.5 W/mK.
