The nickel-plated temperature sensor in the colour shiny black from Bitspower is an easy way to keep an eye on the water temperature of a water cooling system. To do this, the sensor, which has a sealing ring, is screwed into a G1/4" thread, whereby an internal extension then measures the temperature of the surrounding water. With a 90cm long 2-pin cable, the sensor can be connected to a display or control unit or to a compatible motherboard. This allows, for example, the rotation speed of radiator fans to be automatically controlled depending on the water temperature.
