AIM server is supplied pre-loaded and is straightforward to deploy, requiring only a network connection and a power input to begin operation. All configuration of your INFINITY transmitters (channels), receivers and users are performed using the intuitive AIM browser interface via a network connected computer. Single CATx cable or fiber with immunity from interference From the outset we designed AdderLink Infinity units around a highly robust signaling method. This vital core asset is what gives you the freedom to use the full variety of cable links that you typically find within an average structured cabling system. The result is that you can achieve reliable links, regardless of whether the cables are CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7. The AdderLink Infinity also offers the option of up to 10km distances with fiber. Unlimited extension distances Extension distance is not limited to a single 100 meter cable length - If you need to extend further, simply add a 1GbE network device to achieve an additional 100 meters. This can be repeated many times. The units are also fitted with SFP cages to accept fiber optic transceivers which enable much greater extension distances. Support for MacPro (Dithered Video) Some graphics cards use a technique called dithering to give the appearance of a deeper color depth than is actually the case. As a result, dithering can significantly increase the normal video data rates. ALIF1002T has a feature called Magic Eye which supports dithering without allowing it to degrade overall link performance. Minimal emissions profile - 80dB crosstalk isolation The AdderView Analogue Enhanced Secure switch is heavily shielded with double shielding in critical areas to minimize the risk of eavesdropping equipment being able to pick up signals from the equipment. The switch boasts an amazingly high level of electrical crosstalk isolation that is greater than 80dB, giving further peace of mind. No shared RAM between ports The keyboard and mouse processor is powered down and reset at each switchover to thwart shared RAM leakages. Separate memories hold the num, caps and scroll states and are only accessible when the relevant channel is selected. All data buffers are actively cleared once they have been used. Secure USB function The USB ports will only support keyboards, mice and SmartCard / Common Access Cards (CAC). Other devices, such as USB storage drives, are actively prohibited. Independent power supplies block power line signalling The circuitry for each port is independently powered from the USB lead. Power line signaling is therefore blocked because different port circuits don't share the same power feed. Uni-directional data paths for keyboard and mouse One-way data paths ensure that data isolation does not rely on trusting microprocessor software, but is instead assured by hardware and prevents a hidden software weaknesses that could potentially cause data leakage.
