In the U.S. wild west, the eternal battle between the law and the outlaws keeps heating up. Suddenly, a rain of arrows darken the sky: It's an Indian attack! Are you bold enough to keep up with the Indians? Do you have the courage to challenge your fate? Can you expose and defeat the ruthless gunmen around you? BANG! The Dice Game keeps the core of the Bang! card game in place. At the start of the game, players each take a role card that secretly places them on a team: the Sheriff and deputies, outlaws, and renegades. The Sheriff and deputies need to kill the outlaws, the outlaws win by killing the Sheriff, and the renegades want to be the last players alive in the game. Each player also receives a character card which grants him a special power in the game. The Sheriff reveals his role card and takes the first turn of the game. On a turn, a player can roll the five dice up to three times, using the results of the dice to shoot neighboring players, increase the range of his shots, heal his (or anyone else's) life points, or put him in range of the Indians, which are represented by nine tokens in the center of the table. Each time a player rolls an arrow, he takes one of these tokens; when the final token is taken, each player loses one life point for each token he holds, then the tokens are returned to the center of the table. If a player collects a trio of Gatling symbols on the dice, he fires one shot at everyone else and rids himself of Indian tokens. Who'll get his shot off first? Play continues until one team meets its winning condition – and death won't necessarily keep you from winning as long as your teammates pull through!
In 7 Wonders: Duel, you and your opponent each lead an ancient civilisation to greatness—but only one of you can win! Organisation of the Card Board At the beginning of each Age, lay out 20 cards according to the structure of the current Age. Some cards are laid out face up, and others face down. The Wonders You pay the cost of the Wonder (not the one of the Age card) then place your Age card face down partially covered by the Wonder card which is being constructed. The Buildings There are 7 different types of Buildings, easily identifiable by their coloured border. These include; Raw Materials, Manufactured Goods, Civilian Buildings, Scientific Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Military Buildings and Guilds. Three ways to win Military Supremacy Each shield represented on the military Buildings or Wonders allows its owner to move the Conflict pawn one space in the direction of the opposing capital. When the Conflict pawn enters a zone, the active player applies the effect of the corresponding token, then returns it to the box. If the Conflict pawn enters your opponent’s capital, you immediately win the game via military supremacy. Scientific Supremacy There are 7 different scientific symbols in the game. Each time you gather a pair of identical scientific symbols, you may immediately choose one of the Progress tokens on the game board. That token will be kept in your city until the end of the game. If you gather 6 different scientific symbols, you immediately win the game. Civilian Victory A game ends immediately in the case of a military supremacy, a scientific supremacy, or at the end of Age III. If no player has won a victory through supremacy before the end of Age III, the player who has the most victory points wins the game.
Top Secret Picture Game A uniquely fresh spin on the classic word game! In Codenames: Pictures, secret agents are now represented by an image that contains multiple elements—instead of a word. Two rival spymasters know the agent in each location and must deliver coded messages telling their field operatives where to go. Operatives must be clever, however. A decoding mistake could lead to a run-in with an enemy agent—or worse, the assassin! Both teams race to be the first to contact all their agents, but only one team can win.
Dixit: Daydreams is an expansion for Dixit that contains 84 new cards for use with that game. In Dixit, each round one player takes on the role of Storyteller, choosing one card from his hand, then telling a story, singing a ditty, or otherwise doing something that in his opinion is associated with the played card. Each other player then chooses one card in her own hand and gives it to the Storyteller in secret. These cards are shuffled and revealed, then players vote on which card was played by the Storyteller. If either no one or everyone votes for the Storyteller, then he receives no points; if he received some votes but not all of the votes, he scores based on the number of votes received. Each player who submitted a correct vote or who received a vote on her card submission also scores. After a certain number of rounds, the player with the most points wins. This is an expansion. A copy of Dixit the board game is required to play.
Fantastical landscapes, curious characters, and magic at the flip of every card. Dixit Memories taps into the adventurous spirit in all of us. This expansion for the award-winning Dixit series of games adds 84 new cards. Each one tells a story with their amazing illustrations. In a Dixit game, one player is the storyteller for the round. They say a word, or a phrase, or even just make a noise relating to one of the beautifully illustrated cards in their hand. All of the other players choose a card from their own hand to act as a decoy for the active player’s card. All the cards are shuffled together and laid out for all to see. Players vote on which card they think belongs to the active player. They earn points for selecting correctly and for fooling the competition with their decoy card. This is an expansion for Dixit. A copy of the base game is required to go on this adventure.
For centuries, your civilisation has been looking to the stars, hoping for the opportunity to explore and develop new frontiers. The time has come, but as big as space is, there is going to be competition. Take the lead of one of 14 different factions in the game. As you spread throughout the galaxy, you find a variety of different planets from harsh deserts to mild terra. Each faction has a different environment they’ll be comfortable in. Vie for your place in the galaxy with up to four players or try to find a new home in the cosmos on your own in the solo mode. Take advantage of the Power Cycle during the game. You need to charge power tokens by cycling them through areas on your personal board. Once charged, you’ll be able to spend power. Gaia Project is a Terra Mystica game, using a similar action system set in a futuristic new universe.
Shit Happens is as funny, surprising and crazy as real life. Which situation is painful for you and your friends, and which is actually not so bad? Shit Happens is an exciting party game in which players try to accurately assess and correctly rank the various painful situations in life. Each card depicts a horrible event that could happen to you or your friends, such as a swarm of attacking bees or seeing your parents naked. A panel of mental health experts have rated all the situations from 1 to 100 and players have to put the ten cards in the correct order.
Bad things happen suddenly, and sometimes in ugly situations. Which of these situations is the worst? Unpleasant things happen to everyone, and they can definitely happen in the bedroom! The cards in Shit Happens: 50 Shades of Shit contain some really nasty stuff. Read the card and see how bad it looks to you. Is wearing underwear too small better or worse than 4 hours of sexual harassment? Is it worse than a huge bruise on your neck? Lay out your cards and if you are right on our scale, you can keep your card. Draw ten cards in the correct order and you win!
Hail to the King Play mutant monsters, gigantic robots and other monstrous creatures, rampaging the city and vying for position as the one and only King of Tokyo! Combine your dice to gather energy, heal your monster or just slap the other monsters down! Spend your energy to trigger permanent or one-shot special powers. Stop at nothing to become the King of Tokyo... but that's when the real trouble begins for you! Updated Artwork The art team lead by Régis Torres, who previously illustrated the Halloween expansion pack and King of New York return, with updated artwork throughout. The changes are purely aesthetic changes: the rules of the game and Power cards remain unchanged. Gameplay At the start of each turn, you roll six dice, which show the following six symbols: 1, 2, or 3 Victory Points, Energy, Heal, and Attack. Over three successive throws, choose whether to keep or discard each die in order to win victory points, gain energy, restore health, or attack other players into understanding that Tokyo is YOUR territory. The fiercest player will occupy Tokyo, and earn extra victory points, but that player can't heal and must face all the other monsters alone! Top this off with special cards purchased with energy that have a permanent or temporary effect, such as the growing of a second head (which grants you an additional die), body armour, nova death ray, and more.... In order to win the game, one must either destroy Tokyo by accumulating 20 victory points, or be the only surviving monster once the fighting has ended.
In Jaipur, you are hoping to become the Mahārāja’s personal trader by amassing more riches than your opponent at the end of each week. To do so, collect and exchange goods at the market, then sell them for rupees. If you manage to arrange a larger sale, you’ll receive a reward! The camels have no sale value, but they’re very useful for trading, especially when you want a lot of goods from the market! At the end of each round (a week in the game!), the richest trader receives a Seal of Excellence. The first player to collect 2 Seals of Excellence wins the game. The gameplay is simple yet very subtle. On your turn, you either take cards (by trading them for cards in your hand or for camels) OR sell goods! Beware your hand limit (of seven cards) and the opportunities you create for your opponent by selling goods or making camels available! Every choice matters in this tactical game with deep strategy yet simple mechanics.
