Dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide can permanently damage the body and, in the worst case, can even lead to death. The greatest danger exists in places with poorly functioning ventilation, where the amount of air needed for the combustion process is too low. Carbon monoxide can be produced in rooms equipped with heating appliances, such as gas heaters, fireplaces, gas, oil and coal boilers, etc. There are several thousand carbon monoxide-related accidents in Poland every year.
