Control End-points and set presets A.I.M. is used to facilitate connections between INFINITY transmitter and receiver devices through a easy centralized management system. Using Presets, a list of pre-defined connections, multiscreen, video wall or signage setups can be brought up with a single click. Redundant network operation To ensure 24/7 uptime, a second A.I.M. can be added for redundant network. The units will automatically change to the second network port if they detect a failure. Most INFINITY Transmitters and Receivers also feature dual NIC network interfaces, allowing your full solution to be easily designed for maximum resilience. Easy matrix setup The A.I.M. automatically obtains the MAC addresses of extender transmitters & receivers as they are attached to the network using Zero Configuration networking. The administrator allocates IP addresses, names and locations so that devices are easy to identify, configure and control. Open API for 3rd party control systems Adder Technology publishes a simple API structure that allows easy integration with other 3rd-party control systems supplied by companies like AMX, Crestron, HRS or MediaLon at a HTTP level. Adder INFINITY Manager Features - Intuitive user interface On-screen-display (OSD) at each user station After logging in, users choose channel connections from an intuitive OSD similar to that of a Digital TV. Users can also use Presets to change channels for multiple screens across multiple receivers. Remote OSD The remote OSD allows the user to "push" video and control to another station or to a video wall or projector. Favorites & Fast hotkey switching Video and USB switching time between computer sources is less than 1 second to provide a quality user experience. Each user can also select their favorite channels within the OSD and allocate a hotkey for faster switching between channels. USB device sharing USB sharing allows multiple users to connect to and control a single computer at the same time. Each transmitter can report 12 unique USB devices (identified by VID/PID codes) but will merge devices with the same ID to allow many more. Virtual KVM Transmitter Channels A Virtual Transmitter Channel can be setup via the management software to combine video, audio and USB from different transmitters as a single source. Ideal application where audio alerts or mixed video sources are required. LDAP integration LDAP allows integration and user authentication with a directory server such MS Active Directory, OpenLDAP or OpenDJ. To help ease setup, the systems LDAP interface can easily import users and passwords from other systems. SNMP v3 get / walk External machines can check status of the AdderLink Infinity network and units through the A.I.M. SNMP v3 security is implemented, supporting AES/DES transport with MD5/SHA authentication. External NTP server support - NTPv4.2 Connect up to 3 NTP servers with authenticated connections using MD5 and Key ID as defined in the NTP standards. All AdderLink Infinity units in an A.I.M. network now get time using authenticated NTP from A.I.M. Centralized firmware upgrades As well as managing its own firmware upgrade, A.I.M. manages the upgrade of each device on the network and can deploy firmware to hundreds of devices at the same time, meaning a system-wide upgrade takes only a few minutes. System backups Backups of the database can be saved internally, externally or emailed automatically. ‘Zero U’ Computer Access Modules (CAMs): Powered by USB, the digital computer access modules sit in-line and are ideal for racks with limited available space. Modules are available in DVI, VGA and DisplayPort options.  Product Codes DDX-CAM-DP; DDX-CAM-DVI; DDX-CAM-VGA Zero U A zero U configuration CAM (Computer Access Module) which attaches to your source device/computer and acts as a tranmitter to either the DDX30/DDX10 switch or directly to the DDX USR user station as a point to point extender. DDX CAM requires no specific configuration which means you can simply connect it to a DDX USR or DDX switch.  DisplayPort, VGA or DVI Available in DisplayPort, VGA and DVI variants, the DDX CAM supports all common single link digital video resolutions. HDMI is also possible via a passive converter. Mult Function USB Because the DDX CAM is powered by USB, you do not need an external power supply, thus simplifying cable clutter significantly. The same USB power connector also delivers USB data functionality and acts as a USB audio device.

The Adder CATX-CONSOLE is a Computer Access Module cable. Computer Access Modules are used in conjunction with the Adder CATx KVM and Extender products to connect to a range of machine types. Computer Access Modules (CAM's) allow the user to connect multiple different machine platforms to an Adder CATx switch or KVM extender. Using the CAM's you can control Windows machines, SUN PC's and MAC's over the same switch or connect via an extender. Multiple configurations are available for the Adder CAM including USB, PS/2, audio, VGA etc. New to the CAM range is the CATX-CONSOLE serial CAM, giving you serial connectivity to your target machines. Serial interfaces can be used for server control or power control where serial configuration is available.

The AdderLink Digital ipeps uses Real VNC client software that is specifically designed for secure, high performance KVM over IP applications and supports both IPV4 and IPV6 addresses. The AdderLink Digital ipeps can accept video signals from computers equipped with DVI, DisplayPort DP++ (Dual-Mode) or HDMI along with USB for mouse/keyboard control and for virtual media. Adder PSU-RPS-5V is a 2 meter (6.6 ft) 5VDC Power Converter Dongle (12V to 5V) for the Adder RED-PSU rack power supply. Adder devices that require a 5VDC supply require the use of a Converter dongle to form the link between the RED-PSU port and the device, while also transforming the voltage level. Each converter dongle has two leads: a 2.5mm power jack and a locking Kycon® 3-pin plug. Each converter dongle must be placed in close proximity to the device - to assist with mounting dongles in congested spaces, an optional elongated rack bracket (RMK4D-R2) is available for AdderLink Infinity units that allows each dongle to be positioned just behind the device that it is powering.

ADDER DVA is a high performance VGA to DVI-D video converter that transforms analog signals to digital. Placed in-line and USB powered this solution fits well with the AdderLink Infinity range of products.  It converts VGA signals, up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz, into a DVI standard equivalent. • Analog to digital video conversion up to 1920 x 1200 (165MHz max. pixel frequency) • EDID management to ensure clean operation • Adjustment control for alignment, tone, sharpness and brightness • Adjustment control for alignment, tone, sharpness and brightness • USB powered with USB feed through Product Codes Adder DVA High quality VGA to DVI-D conversion Adder DVA is a high quality VGA to DVI-D converter supporting most resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz. EDID management EDID management is a critical element in VGA/DVI-D conversion, to ensure the correct settings are passed to the computer’s graphics card. USB powered with pass through  Adder DVA requires no separate power adapter and instead draws less than 300mA in operation from a spare USB port on the computer. A USB pass-through port is made available on the Adder DVA to allow a low-powered USB device to be connected; thus, the same total number of USB ports remain available for other uses. Flash upgradeable Adder DVA is flash upgradeable, allowing custom EDID adjustment for non-standard operations. Upgrades are achieved via the USB port. Virtual control panel app over DDC-CI Adder DVA is supplied with a Virtual Control Panel (VCP) app which allows brightness, tone and sharpness to be adjusted. Vertical and horizontal video alignment can also be adjusted, where necessary. The VCP app contains a test pattern to accurately display the changes. EDID management options can also be changed and the EDID’s of the monitors can be displayed.

The KMU2P converter emulates the presence of a keyboard and mouse (via the PS/2 connectors) to the device at all times. This means that when used with a KVM switch, there will be no delay in response when switching to this channel.

The result is that you can achieve reliable links, regardless of whether the cables are CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7. The AdderLink Infinity also offers the option of up to 10km distances with fiber. Unlimited extension distances  Extension distance is not limited to a single 100 meter cable length - If you need to extend further, simply add a 1GbE network device to achieve an additional 100 meters. This can be repeated many times. The units are also fitted with SFP cages to accept fiber optic transceivers which enable much greater extension distances. Support for MacPro (Dithered Video)  Some graphics cards use a technique called dithering to give the appearance of a deeper color depth than is actually the case. As a result, dithering can significantly increase the normal video data rates. ALIF1002T has a feature called Magic Eye which supports dithering without allowing it to degrade overall link performance. USB 2.0 with class control  Enables connection of USB devices from mice and keyboards through to graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks and 3D explorers, alongside mass storage devices. For applications where security is of high importance, the system has the ability to disable the use of non-HID devices, meaning there is no need to physically block USB ports to prevent the use of mass storage devices. EDID management  Intelligent EDID management allows the true characteristics of the monitor to be passed back to the computer. This ensures perfect video display without the additional configuration. Plug and Play  AdderLink Infinity extender devices are delivered in a zero configuration state so you can plug them in and start working on them straight away. There is no need for drivers or software to be installed. Single CATx cable or fiber with immunity from interference Using standard IP technology means you have the choice of a single structured cable (CATx) or fiber connection. As a result, dithering can significantly increase the normal video data rates. Cable Equalisation Finely adjustable cable equalisation amplifiers enable the video sharpness and brightness to be independently adjusted using the dials on the side of the receiver units. Integral DeSkew (ADDERLink AV101R only) Skew compensation adjustments can be made using the two rotary dials on the ADDERLink AV101R receiver unit. The first dial affects the relationship between green and blue colour signals, the second red and green. The cable skew is produced due to wire length differences between different twisted pairs in a CATx cable that arise due to the different twist rates used to reduce signalling cross talk. The amount of cable skew seen depends on the cable type used and the cable length. The ADDERLink AV101R provides up to 62ns of DeSkew with a fine 2ns resolution. This means that high-resolution video can be accurately DeSkewed even at long cable distances. The DeSkew supports 300MHz bandwidths, which means that the DeSkew function does not adversely affect the video quality. Indicators The remote and local units are fitted with two indicators, red shows the presence of power into the module, green indicates the presence of a video input. Audio Transmitted as digital signals to ensure high fidelity and low noise levels. Phase locked sampling clocks ensure that there are no unwanted clicks when no sound is being played. Rack mount options Both the local (computer-end) and remote (display-end) units may be rack mounted in the ADDERLink AV Series rack mount chassis.
