In 2019 Dorothy Cross recalled a story of an Egyptian mummy that had been hidden away in the archives of the anatomy department at University College Cork for decades. For Cross, the next step she needed to take seemed as natural to her as any of her work – the mummy and sarcophagus must be returned to its homeland. In beginning this act, and this journey, Cross set out to create an event across place and time, with music, literature and celebration – an act of kinship. As the body returns to its home across the Mediterranean, the Kinship project would again draw attention to the present-day plight of thousands of migrants who, fleeing their countries, attempt to cross those same waters. This aptitude is observable in all cultures because it simplifies the interaction with nonliving objects (Fournier 1998, p.344). In search for ways to en-courage lasting costumer relationships the brand personality concept becomes a more prominent anthropomorphization in marketing. Brand personality is: ¿the set of hu-man characteristics associated with a brand¿ (Aaker 1997, p. 347). Aaker¿s brand personality scale was chosen for the purpose of this paper to create and analyze an online survey among Polish and German people in order to assess cultural differences in the perception of brand personalities.

In "Dante Alighieri" il poeta affiora rigoroso e a suo modo inedito nella vita di una donna americana trasferitasi in Italia, tra memorie del passato e inadeguatezze del presente, finché incipit vita nova. L'andamento della scrittura è riconducibile agli autori italiani del Novecento che Jhumpa Lahiri conosce e profondamente ama, a partire da Moravia che riecheggia nel titolo.
