With aging the ratio of soluble and non-soluble collagen significantly changes in favour of the last one. As a result old people get fractures more often. We should understand that bones in the adult age reach the peak of bone mass that starts to decrease with age. All these factors bring to decrease of thickness of bone and its destruction doesn¿t depend on their combination. Therefore, our objective was to study the changes in the alveolar bones of elderly people in secondary edentulous.
