The 17 mm Plössl is a fine all-round eyepiece, it delivers a good performance on planets, but also when viewing nebulae and galaxies. It is often chosen for binoviewers, too, due to the very good ease of view. Areas of application of Plössl eyepieces:Through the four-element design, the Plössl is a true all-rouder. It does not introduce an additional chromatic aberration to the system, in opposite to more simple eyepieces with fewer elements. As a consequence, these eyepieces can be very well used for observing moon and planets with higher magnifications. At lower magnifications, Plössl eyepieces are well suited for observing nebulae, star clusters and galaxies, they convince with a field of view relatively free of distortion. Astrophotographers can also work well with Plössl eyepieces, as they are well suited for eyepiece projection. The MgF2 coating prevents disturbing reflections and provide good contrast. However, many projection adapters are too narrow for the Plössl eyepieces with 32 or 40 mm focal length.

The Browning Strike Force HD has a visible infrared flash. This trail camera has a fast response and recovery time and can record both photos and videos. The videos are shot in 720p HD resolution. The camera runs up to 6 months on 6 AA batteries (we recommend Duracell Industrial Alkaline or Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries). The Browning Strike Force HD works with SDHC memory cards (we recommend to select Class 10 or higher) that are able to write the 720p HD videos to the card quickly. Browning has 4 other models in their range, all of which are available at our shop. The main differences between the models are in the type of flash (invisible or visible infrared), the dimensions (some models are smaller and run on 6 batteries while others are somewhat larger and run on 8 batteries), and the video resolution (720p HD or 1080p FULL HD). Finally, there are small differences between the models in response and recovery times. Browning trail cameras are a good alternative to Bushnell trail cameras. They are a bit cheaper, not as fast as the newest 2015 Bushnell models, and at night the videos last up to 10 seconds at a time (while during the day the videos can be up to 2 minutes at a time) while Bushnell cameras can record videos of up to 1 minute during day and night. However, generally the quality of nighttime recordings (photo and video) is better for Browning camera traps than for Bushnell cameras.
