Zusätzliches Arbeitsheft mit CD für Schülerinnen und Schüler mit dem Förderschwerpunkt Lernen sowie Wortbildkarten erweitern das Angebot an passenden Materialien für den inklusiven Unterricht. Vielfältige und abwechslungsreiche Materialien sind so angelegt, dass sich Schülerinnen und Schüler persönlich angesprochen und angeregt fühlen, ihre Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten zu erweitern, miteinander zu arbeiten und voneinander zu lernen. Optionals, optionale Texte am Ende jeden Themes, ermöglichen vertiefende Auseinandersetzung mit dem Inhalt des Themes. Am Ende der Themes bieten Book stops zusätzliches Lesefutter, das sich thematisch an die Kapitel anlehnt. Die grammatischen Strukturen können im übersichtlich und systematisch angelegten LiF-Abschnitt geübt werden. Ein Portfolio-I can Symbol in den Randspalten von Textbook und Workbook führt Schülerinnen und Schüler zu ihrem Portfolio-Fragebogen, wo sie anhand einer entsprechenden Aussage ihren Lernstand erkennen können. Moderne Land & Leute Module geben Einblicke in den britischen Alltag. Ab Klasse 7 ermöglicht Notting Hill Gate mit der zusätzlichen Basic-Ausgabe neben der Binnen- auch eine äußere Fachleistungsdifferenzierung. Die allgemeine Ausgabe deckt das gesamte Leistungsspektrum vom Förderschul- bis Gymnasialniveau ab. Early and modern critics have noted that Anthony Trollope (1815-1882), who wrote extensively on the Church of England, never clearly takes sides on such issues as Church reform or clerical feuds. This book shows that the author's apparent ambiguity is in fact superficial and that a careful examination of his numerous novels, essays, articles and letters reveals that, as a Liberal, he severely condemned clerical abuses and supported a reform of the Church. He did, however, regard some reformers' methods as excessive. Moreover, critics often disagree on Trollope's type of Churchmanship. Although he clearly despised Evangelicals, he also satirized the wordliness of High Churchmen, but deeply admired Newman and the Tractarians. Ultimately, a chronological study of Trollope's works reveals that from the 1860's onwards, as he grew increasingly sensitive to religious liberalism, he started to support the Broad Church. The study will be especially useful to students of British literature, culture and religious history.
