With the HEATKILLER®V for AMD Radeon RX6800/6900XT we are continuing the current HEATKILLER V generation with extensive optimizations. The full-cover water block draws on over 20 years of know-how in the development and production of high-performance water coolers. Equipped with unique highlights, the latest version of the HEATKILLER® V presents what is technically feasible. The cooler base, milled from a solid copper block, establishes contact with all relevant components. The pioneering dual-layer inflow distributes the water simultaneously on two levels. This ensures an inflow that is at least 30 percent higher than with our previous generation. The wide and symmetrical flow paths reduce dead spots (standing water) to a minimum and accelerate the flow. The overall result increases not only the maximum cooling performance but also the flow rate of the HEATKILLER® V. Thanks to newly designed spacers made of high-performance plastic (PEEK), the solid copper block is insulated from the circuit board as best as possible. In addition to the technical innovations, the design of the cooler is also impressive. The screwless cover makes the entire block look like it was made from a single piece. The symmetrical channels further underline the look of the cooler and make it a unique element in every mod. The integrated high-luminous aRGB LED strips are now also standard in combination with the nickel-acrylic variants. This means that the HEATKILLER® V can be perfectly integrated into the computer's lighting concept. For the best possible look, the optionally available backplate is highly recommended. The unique manufacturing process conceals all electronic components without sacrificing illumination. The block in combination with the backplate makes the HEATKILLER®V for the current AMD graphics card generation look like a single unit and presents the legendary cooler in a completely new light. The legendary Kryonaut thermal paste from Thermal Grizzly ensures the best possible contact with the processor. The thermal pads, pre-cut by a CNC machine, ensure exceptional cooling of the voltage converters. This also makes installation easy, as the pads can be removed without leaving any residue. The next generation - The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora water cooler for Geforce RTX 4XXX graphics cards. In order to dissipate the enormous heat of this graphics card generation in the best possible way, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous model. The fin structure was adapted and enables a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The modified jet plate with improved inflow engine ensures an optimal distribution of the water on the cooling fins.Technical HighlightsThe fin structure of this Eisblock cooler generation was developed together with Nvidia board partners. The fin thickness is 0.4 mm, the distance between the cooling fins is 0.4 mm. This ensures a very good water flow while increasing the cooling surface. The jet plate has a revised inlay that spreads the water pressure better over the fins thus optimizing the heat absorption. The adjusted water inflow gives the water a better angle of inflow.Chrome-plated copperThe cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. It completely eliminates the risk of chipping nickel plating. Additionally, chrome plating looks much more homogeneous and provides a shine that cannot be achieved by nickel plating. Chrome-plated coolers have previously only been used in the industrial sector in areas where extreme influences act on the coolers. DesignThe Aurora design of the Geforce RTX 4XXX Eisblock generation is visually calmer and simpler. Only one O-ring runs around the entire cooler. The design around the cooling fins and jetplate makes for a cleaner look. The illumination of the digitally addressable RGB LEDs is even better distributed throughout the cooler as a result of the chrome plating. The terminal's design is in line with the classic Aurora design.Thermal paste & thermal padsThe included thermal compound is Alphacool's Subzero. With a thermal conductivity of 16 W/mK, it is one of the highest performing thermal pastes on the market. The electrically non-conductive thermal compund is particularly well suited for high contact pressures, but can still be processed perfectly due to its viscosity of 850,000 TF. Alphacool Soft Pads with 1mm thickness are used on the voltage converter and the graphics memory. The thermal conductivity of the pads is 7 W/mK. The pads for the back of the PCB are 3mm thick and have a thermal conductivity of 3 W/mK. Product Details: Thermal Grizzly - Basic TG Putty Basic is a non-electrically conductive alternative to traditional thermal pads. This easy-to-apply and flexible material serves as a "gap filler," effectively compensating for height differences. It is an ideal replacement for thermal pads on graphics cards, where different pad thicknesses are typically used. When replacing pads or upgrading to a GPU water block, multiple thermal pad sizes are usually required. TG Putty can be applied using the included spatulas or by hand (gloves recommended). The spatula allows for smooth, even application over larger areas, while alternatively, the putty can be shaped into small beads that precisely fit components such as VRAM or SMDs. TG Putty can compensate for height differences ranging from 0.2 mm to 3.0 mm. The Alphacool ES GPX Copper/Carbon water cooler with backplate was developed for the Alphacool Enterprise Series. Due to the positioning of the connections, the hosing of the cooler in the server rack is significantly simplified. The top of the cooler is made of carbon. This makes the water cooler lighter compared to Alphacool's Eisblocks with acetal or acrylic tops. Thanks to the compact design, only 1 slot is needed to mount the cooler in the server rack instead of 1.5 slots as before. This additional space saving is one more argument for using the ES GPX Copper/Carbon graphics card water cooler. More performance! Alphacool manages to position the cooler as close as possible to the components to be cooled. For this purpose, the heat conducting pads used are reduced to a thickness of 1mm. The maximum possible reduction in the thickness of the copper block and the optimization of the water flow inside the cooler allow all important components such as GPU, voltage converters and VRAMs to be cooled by water much better and more effectively. All of this provides a significant increase in cooling performance. Connections on the back? In order to save space in the width and height during installation, the water input and output have been moved to the back of the cooling block. This positioning of the connections makes hosing much easier. It enables easy integration of the GPU cooler into the water circuit even in the tightest server housings. Copper or aluminum? Alphacool uses only copper for all water-bearing parts. Copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum and is therefore clearly the better choice of material for water cooling. The cooler is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. A chrome plating is much harder than a nickel plating and therefore less sensitive to acids, scratches and damage. The 1mm thick pads can dissipate 7 W/mk of heat. Discreet appearance The matte carbon finish gives the cooler a noble appearance. The cooling units from Hailea have been used in trusted waterchillers from other manufacturers for over 15 years. The new heat exchangers of the Ultra series are made from titanium. Therefore the chillers are perfect for watercooling systems. Another positive aspect about the Hailea units is the low noise emission. The pricing of the new series is also pleasantly affordable.
