Due to the cable construction the attenuation is significantly lower as compared to single shielded coaxial cables: RF shielding of HF400UF is > 90 dB as compared to 40 dB for RG8. Outer Sheath HF400UF coaxial cable comes with a UV resistant flexible PVC Jacket. This helps allow the cable to bend with much less force than that of standard HF400 with PE or LSZH Jacket.
