The slanted copper chambers on either side are built identically. Both copper chambers have three 1/4" threads. That means connections can be attached on the top, bottom and at the front or back (not on the NexXxoS ST30). The D-Plug from Alphacool's ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS series with 2 G1/4" male threads offers the possibility to connect components like GPU and CPU coolers or radiators within a water circuit. What's New?Compared to double nipples or similar adapters, the ES D-Plug is plugged and not screwed. The necessary stability is provided by two closely fitting O-rings on the Male component of the connector. Of course, the connector has been extensively tested in the Alphacool lab with the result that the D-Plug is stable up to 1.5 Bar. UsesAlphacool's ES D-Plug allows for easy connection of water cooling components such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators to each other. Since the connector is only plugged in and not screwed, easy installation or quick replacement are uncomplicated. The ES D-Plug has a variable length. By pulling the connector apart, an extension of up to 15 mm can be achieved. This flexibility allows compensation for inaccuracies in the system design and prevents hoses from twisting during assembly. The installation of a D5 or VPP pump is required for operation. Due to its compact design, the Core Reservior also fits into small cases.Core DesignA key element of Alphacool's Core Design series are the chrome-plated G1/4" connections made of brass. In the Core Reservoir, the connections are recessed rather than screwed into a thread, bypassing the problem of possible leaks due to cracking from the direct screwing of the connections into the acrylic. The connections are in two parts, fitted with an O-ring and counter each other when mounted in the acrylic. This not only ensures absolute sealing of each connection, but also allows for the clear and functional appearance of the Alphacool Core Design series.Easy installationWith the included Core Push Mounting kit, the Core Reservoir can be mounted on the case or on a radiator.
