The AXON Multi Net Protector family of products is designed to protect the 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet appliances against pulse surges. The AXON Multi Net Protectors work with modems routers network cards and all other Ethernet network appliances that use twisted pair cable terminated with RJ45 plug. They are multichannel devices dedicated to protect server rooms local telecommunication networks and all other systems based on multiple lines.The fast semiconductor components used in the device eliminate the effects of pulse surges emerging between each pairs of wires in the 4-pair cable and the surge energy is discharged to the earth through the PE wire. There are available two versions of the device which differ in the number of channels and dimensions: the AXON Multi Net Protector 12 is the 12-channel version with all jacks placed on the front panel while larger the 24-channel version AXON Multi Net Protector RACK 24 has its sockets placed both on the front and on the back panel of the housing. Control End-points and set presets A.I.M. is used to facilitate connections between INFINITY transmitter and receiver devices through a easy centralized management system. Redundant network operation To ensure 24/7 uptime, a second A.I.M. can be added for redundant network. The units will automatically change to the second network port if they detect a failure. Most INFINITY Transmitters and Receivers also feature dual NIC network interfaces, allowing your full solution to be easily designed for maximum resilience. Easy matrix setup The A.I.M. automatically obtains the MAC addresses of extender transmitters & receivers as they are attached to the network using Zero Configuration networking. The administrator allocates IP addresses, names and locations so that devices are easy to identify, configure and control. Remote OSD The remote OSD allows the user to "push" video and control to another station or to a video wall or projector. USB device sharing USB sharing allows multiple users to connect to and control a single computer at the same time. Each transmitter can report 12 unique USB devices (identified by VID/PID codes) but will merge devices with the same ID to allow many more. Virtual KVM Transmitter Channels A Virtual Transmitter Channel can be setup via the management software to combine video, audio and USB from different transmitters as a single source. Ideal application where audio alerts or mixed video sources are required. LDAP integration LDAP allows integration and user authentication with a directory server such MS Active Directory, OpenLDAP or OpenDJ. To help ease setup, the systems LDAP interface can easily import users and passwords from other systems. SNMP v3 security is implemented, supporting AES/DES transport with MD5/SHA authentication. External NTP server support - NTPv4.2 Connect up to 3 NTP servers with authenticated connections using MD5 and Key ID as defined in the NTP standards. All AdderLink Infinity units in an A.I.M. network now get time using authenticated NTP from A.I.M. Centralized firmware upgrades As well as managing its own firmware upgrade, A.I.M. manages the upgrade of each device on the network and can deploy firmware to hundreds of devices at the same time, meaning a system-wide upgrade takes only a few minutes. System backups Backups of the database can be saved internally, externally or emailed automatically.
