Thus, the Snyper Commander 4G Wireless is not only fun and useful to observe wildlife, but also for those who are looking for a wireless security camera. It is also possible to send a text message to the camera and immediately see if the cameratrap is working properly. This model is equipped with an invisible infrared flash. However, to get started right away you need at least a set of batteries and an SDHC memory card. In the case of the Snyper Commander 4G Wireless, this is a standard SDHC memory card of at least Class 10, like the Sandisk Ultra cards. Additionally, we recommend you to use the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (non-rechargeable), or the Panasonic Eneloop and Eneloop PRO rechargeable NiMH batteries. The advantage of the lithium batteries over the rechargeable Eneloop batteries is that the former are more resistant to winter temperatures. The disadvantage however, is that they are non-rechargeable. If you choose rechargeable batteries, think of the Japcell battery charger, in case you don’t have a good battery charger in your house! In addition to a set of batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this cameramodel. The Snyper General 3G WIRELESS is the successor of the Snyper Commander 3G WIRELESS. It is one of our four current models in our GSM camera ranger with WIRELESS sim card functionality. This means that you can install a SIM card in the camera, so that the camera is able to immediately send the pictures it takes to a mobile phone or email address. This way, you will be notified instantly about the presence of a living object in view of your camera. The transferred photos can then be used to check what it is that triggered the camera. This is not only fun, useful, and interesting for nature lovers, but certainly also for people who are looking for a security camera that notifies them from a distance. The camera works on batteries, like all camera traps, and sends the captured images via a regular telecom provider to a mobile phone or email address. It does not matter which provider you wish to use or in which country you wish to use the camera, but you need telecom reception at your site and it usually works best to opt for a SIM card of one of the big providers in your country as they generally offer best coverage. The Snyper General 3G WIRELESS has a fully invisible infrared flash so that it does not stand out for humans and animals at all. The camera has a reasonably fast response and recovery time and can record both photos and videos. The videos are shot in 1080p FULL HD resolution. This trail camera runs up to 8 months on 12 AA batteries. The Snyper General 3G works with SDHC memory cards (we recommend Class 10 or higher) which are able to write the 1080p FULL HD videos to the card quickly.
