ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic) filament from ROSA3D is a polymer resistant to UV radiation, moisture and heat. ASA‘s resistance to UV radiation makes it a suitable material for outdoor applications, e.g. parts that will be intensively exposed to the sun and various weather conditions. ASA is ideal when you need a high-performance material that will be less problematic than printing from ABS. The filament has less shrinkage and the vapors produced are much less irritating. The softening point of ASA prints is higher compared to PLA and PET-G, there is no signs of deformation up to a temperature of approx. 94 ° C. The unique mechanical and thermal properties of ASA together with excellent resistance to UV radiation make it a great choice for automotive, marine and exterior applications such as mirror, radiator or sensor covers. Recommended printing parameters: extrusion temperature 220-250°C bed temperature: 90-110°C The adhesion of the first layer can be improved with ASA slurry (ASA material dissolved in acetone). It is recommended to print in a closed chamber. PRODUCT PARAMETERS Color: white Diameter: 1.75 mm Weight: 1000 g (vacuum packed) Density: 1.07 g/cm3 Odor: almost odorless Vicat softening point: 94 ° C (ASTM 1525) Diameter tolerance: +/- 0,05 Oval tolerance: +/- 0,02 Tensile elongation: 35 % Tensile strength (to break): 40 MPa Printable model for refill spool sides you can download here:
PCTG is an advanced 3D printing filament, belonging to the same polyester family as the popular PET-G. Compared to PET-G, PCTG has higher impact strength, heat resistance (up to 76°C) and transparency. It offers an interesting alternative to PET-G. Like PET-G, PCTG does not require a heated print chamber, making it an excellent choice if you plan to print on open hobby printers.PCTG is characterized by high flexibility, strong adhesion between layers, high viscosity and minimal shrinkage. Its characteristics enable easy and efficient printing, even for those without much 3D printing experience. 3D printing using PCTG is widely used in various sectors. In industry, it is an ideal choice for creating parts, small batch production and usable models, confirming the versatility of this material. The automotive sector also benefits from the advantages of PCTG, using it to print accessories, components in the engine compartment, vehicle component housings, as well as components such as air intakes and fluid inlets (chemical resistance). In the world of sport, PCTG proves its value in the production of various types of accessories, protectors, etc. The properties of this material guarantee not only the high durability of the finished prints, but also their aesthetics and functionality. PLA Starter filament by Rosa3D was created for beginners of 3D printing. The simplicity of printing with our PLA Starter will allow you to enjoy aesthetic prints, and over time will convince you to print more and more complex and demanding projects. The PLA Starter filament is available in a wide range of colors. PLA Starter is characterized by low shrinkage and no unpleasant odor. Printouts from PLA Starter are characterized by excellent layer adhesion and very good detail reproduction. The filament is made of a biodegradable biopolymer. It was made of ingredients approved for contact with food. In the case of products that come into contact with food, certification is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the final product. Printable model for refill spool sides you can download here: Recommended printing parameters: extrusion temperature 185-225°C bed temperature: 40-60°C fan: 50-100% print speed: 60-80 mm/s The filament can be printed on unheated tables. In case of problems with adhesion, we recommend the use of an adhesive. ROSA-Flex 96A is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is intended for intermediate users of 3D printers who want to start their adventure with printing from flexible materials. The ROSA-Flex 96A filament is hard enough to be printed even on printers with Bowden feeding. In addition, it does not require a closed chamber and will easily stick to many work surfaces (eg. glass, smooth PEI, textured PEI, alluminum). ROSA-Flex 96A has excellent interlayer adhesion. Filament made of TPU will be perfect if you need elements resistant to chemical reagents and mechanical damage. Prints can be squeezed and stretched many times without permanently changing their original shape. You can print use it to print a protective case for your smartphone in one of the many vivid colors. ROSA-Flex 96A is a durable technical material, resistant to oils, greases and many solvents. What's more, ROSA-Flex 96A filament was made of components approved for contact with food, complying with FDA 21CFR177.2600 and the amendment of the Commission (EU) 10/2011. For products that come into contact with food, the certification lies with the manufacturer of the final product.
