PCs and connected KVM switches can be remove easily with hot plug support, allowing for maintenance to take place without the need for powering down all connected devices, essential within "always on" environments such as data centers or traffic management setups.

Die jüngste kritische Edition erschien 1954 in der NeuenBach-Ausgabe. Mehr als 40 Jahre nach dieser nicht unumstrittenen Ausgabe von FriedrichSmend legt jetzt der renommierte Bachforscher Christoph Wolff bei C. F. Peters eine Edition desprominenten Werkes nach neuester Quellenforschung vor.Als Hauptquelle diente das Autograph Bachs, wobei die späteren, bearbeitenden Eintragungenvon Bachs Sohn Carl Philipp Emanuel einer Neubewertung unterzogen wurden. GebührendeBerücksichtigung fanden zum ersten Mal auch die sogenannten "Dresdner Stimmen", ein von J.S. Bach und mehreren Familienmitgliedern geschriebener Stimmensatz; dies eröffnete neueErkenntnisse vor allem zu den Artikulations-, Verzierungs-, Tempo- und Besetzungsangaben undauch im Hinblick auf einzelne Notenkorrekturen.Als Novum präsentiert die Partitur im Anhang eine erst kürzlich aufgefundene Frühfassung des"Credo in unum Deum" Nr. 13, die neue Aspekte der Werkentstehung beleuchtet. Ebenfalls eineErstveröffentlichung ist die am Schluß beigegebene Einleitung zum "Credo", die Carl PhilippEmanuel Bach im Jahre 1786 komponiert hat.Die Partitur-Neuausgabe der h-Moll-Messe enthält ein ausführliches Nachwort, das neben derWerkgeschichte den neuesten Stand musikwissenschaftlicher Forschung referiert.
