As a vital issue not only of linguistics, but also of cognitive sciences, psychology, neurosciences, philosophy etc., engaging in the study of the relation between language, thought and reality, the doctrine of linguistic relativity (LR) went through upsurge-downturn-renaissance during more than 80 years, yet remains still unsolved puzzle for researchers of all these academic areas. Numerous treatises with valued ideas about this issue are continuously contributed to this theme; nevertheless, the study of LR has been stagnant up to nowadays. The reason is that, in my opinion, the study has deviated from the right direction, and this deviation might be boiled down to three basic concepts: The expository scope of LR. LR cannot and should not concern with (a) human speech-thinking action at the level of human biological-physiological traits, (b) human behaviours in all fields of his everyday life and (c) human spiritual activities in the areas of science, literature, philosophy, art etc. LR will explain that, constrained by the language, ordinary people are not aware that the reality they talk/think about does not coincide with the outside world they physically experience. The relativity. We should ponder the language-thought-reality relation in line with the original intention of Whorf when he proposed the principle of LR, i.e. the relativity should not be interpreted as the discrepancy between customs, modes of thinking and patterns of behavior of different linguistic communities on the basis of comparing peculiarities of their languages. The language. The doctrine of LR should concern with the human language as a complete and comprehensive system, but not with a set of sporadically observed phenomena and certain random interpretation of them. The linguistic intermediated world is eventually construed by the entire system of language, rather than an assembly of peculiar language items.

According to Ernest Gellner, ¿nations are the artefact of men¿s convictions and loyalties and solidarities.¿ Nations are thus of big importance for people¿s identity. After World War II, the notion of nationalism became a complicated concept for most Germans. One reason was that people who were nationalistic were condemned by others because of the horrible things done by the Hitler regime. Another complication with post-World War II German nationalism was the division of Germany itself. Due to that division, Germans with the same history and culture were divided by political boundaries. Gellner argues that this harms nationalism immensely. Yet most Germans did not see the division as a permanent condition. The East German attitude in this matter is especially interesting. Despite minor changes in opinion over time, the ordinary East German citizen felt that he or she was part of a single German nation. Actions taken by the East German government aimed at full independence and even isolation from West Germany. However, East Germans did not go along with this. They expressed their desire for a single German nation in many fields, one of them consumer culture. The population did not support the official policy of rejecting and ignoring West German and other products but wanted to be able to enjoy the Western lifestyle. This frustrated desire combined with the shortcomings of production and supply in the GDR was the final problem that, apart from the breakdown of the Soviet Union and the East German economy, led to the eventual collapse of the German Democratic Republic.

Agriculture is the main source of income for the families in India. Farms cover half of the land and almost three-quarter of that land is used to grow the two major cereals rice and wheat. Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is the primary food for more than 3 billion people around the world and show one fourth of the global rice production area (about 40 million ha) is in rainfed lowlands of the humid and sub-humid tropics of South and South-east Asia and Africa. Worldwide, India stands first in rice area and second in rice production after China. Indiäs annual rice production is around 85-89 million tons. It contributes 21.5 percent of global rice production. The population of our country has increased around 18 crore but production of rice increased by around 10 million tones in last decade.The level of rice production may not be sufficient to feed the ever increasing population in the future. The scope for expansion of area under rice has already been exhausted, the only way to increase the production by increasing the productivity of rice through modern technology. The hybrid rice may be potential technology to increase the average productivity level of rice in the country.

The guy who broke my heart is back and teaching at my school. I'm really trying not to give an F.
