Ultrahelimebraan pihustab vett ning ventilaator puhub peenemad piisad (udu) seadmest välja. Koos pihustatud veega liigub seadmest välja ka vette lisatud aroomõli. Aromisaator õhuniisutit asendama ei sobi, kuna pihustatud vee kogus on väga väike (100ml / 12h). Samas ei ole enamik ultraheli õhuniisutajaid sobilikud aroomõlidele, kuna õlidega kokkupuutuv materjali peab olema õlikindel ABS plastik. Ultraheli aromisaatori kasutuskohad: Aromisaatoreid võib kasutada ruumides, kus soovitakse kasutada täinedavat lõhna. Seadme väiksed mõõdud suurendavad sobiliku koha leidmise võimalust ning intervallrežiim (10min tööd ja 20 min pausi) ei lase uue lõhnaga (liigselt) harjuda.
