It is, however, of essential importance for the protection of your eyes to reduce the sunlight to less than 1/100,000 of its normal brightness. The Astro Solar Sun Filter Foil provides these conditions. It needs simply to be mounted on the front opening of the telescope tube. The Astro Solar Sun Filter Foil meets highest quality requirements and is therefore comparable to expensive plan parallel glass filters.
