The EK-Classic CPU Water Block 115x/20xx D-RGB, is a high-quality CPU water block of the top class for current Intel processors. The Alphacool ES 2U ServerRack has been specifically optimised to accommodate water cooling sets that can dissipate up to 880W of waste heat in this enclosure. For this purpose, the enclosure not only offers a mounting frame for a maximum of one 4x80mm full copper radiator of the Alphacool NexXxoS series. The optionally available Alphacool ES 80 mm fans with PWM control ensure optimum cooling performance. Drives The 2U server rack offers mounting options for four 5.25" drives on the left and right side of the front. Alternatively, each 5.25" bay offers the option of mounting three 3.5" drives via an enclosed adapter. A mounting frame for mounting up to six 2.5" drives is possible in the centre front. The mounting frame for the 2.5" can also be mounted in other places in the case. Mainboard For mounting an SSI-EBB mainboard, all the usual screw connection options in the classic ATX format are available. This includes all mounting holes for Mini-ITX to EE-ATX. The case offers space for up to seven 0.8" low-profile cards. Water cooling for 880W waste heat With an appropriate water cooling system, up to 880W of waste heat can be dissipated in this case. With the Alphacool Eisbaer LT, you get a high-performance compact water cooling system that’s barely inferior to its bigger brother, the Eisbaer AIO. Just like the Eisbaer, the Eisbaer LT distinguishes itself from the usual AIO mix in that Alphacool relied on normal custom components as much as possible during development. This allows the Eisbaer LT to be expanded on not just with the Eisbaer Ready quick connectors but also with connectors using standard G1/4” threads. These can be replaced with other models at any time. Another highlight is the new 25mm thin Slim Radiator, made entirely of copper. Since copper has twice the heat capacity of aluminium, optimal cooling is guaranteed. Cooler and pump The cooler bottom is made entirely of copper and has an ultra-fine cross slot structure. Thanks to those cross slots and a sophisticated nozzle system, heat is absorbed extremely fast and transferred away from the CPU. The built-in DC-LT 2 Ceramic pump is an extremely quiet pump that Alphacool has used in many products. The pump is much stronger than what you’d usually find in AIOs. It can also be throttled with the optional 7V adaptor, decreasing the already low noise generation even further. The pump casing is very flat and the aluminium cap gives it a clean, elegant look. Fittings Alphacool relies on the standard DIY fittings you’d find in any standard water cooling system. Components are made entirely of high-quality brass and use a G1/4” thread. This means fittings can be exchanged easily, just like in a standard system. Maybe you want different tubing or want to switch over to HardTubes – your options are wide open. Quick connectors The Eisbaer LT’s quick connectors make it compatible with all other Eisbaer Ready products, like the Eiswolf GPX-Pro cooler or the Eiswand external radiator. Both products use the same pump – perfect for quickly and easily expanding the cooling loop. Alternatively, you can use the Extension Set or Alphacool HF Quick Connectors (available separately) to integrate other components into the system. Tubing The compact but standard 11/8mm tubing size was Alphacool’s go-to here. The tubing uses anti-kink springs in order to prevent kinks in the tubing. This makes it easy to lay tubing even in tight spaces, meaning the Eisbaer LT is easy to install even in compact cases. Radiator Alphacool has integrated a brand-new 25mm-thin Ultra-Slim Radiator. Unlike most AIO systems, Alphacool’s radiator is not made of cheap aluminium, but rather high-quality copper. With twice the heat capacity, copper significantly increases the radiator’s cooling performance. This is especially noticeable when you reach the performance limits of a radiator. While temperatures in aluminium radiators progressively rise fairly early, copper radiators can keep the temperature stable for much longer. Fans The Eiswind fans were specially designed for use in radiators and provide very high static pressure to force cool air through the radiator’s cooling fins. Both fans can be regulated via PWM over an enormous range of 550 to 1700 RPM. A PWM Y-adapter is included with the Eisbaer LT, so both fans can be connected to a PWM connection on your motherboard or a separate fan controller. At first glance, the Eisbaer LT looks like a typical CPU AIO solution, but a closer look elevates the Eisbaer LT far above the competition. Thanks to its copper radiator and cooling block, its cooling power is enormous, and the quick connectors and custom water cooling components make it easy to expand on. On top of that, you have product options that can connect to the Eisbaer LT without needing to be refilled at all – such as external radiators, prefilled radiators, and graphics card coolers. The new Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge CPU water cooler offers fantastic performance thanks to the patented ramp design as well as boasting excellent quality. The new Aurora design in combination with the addressable digital RGB illumination offers many possibilities for outstanding illumination of the CPU water block. Performance in abundance! Alphacool already developed and patented new flow technology for the first Alphacool Eisblock XPX series. The so-called "ramp system" ensures an even flow of water inside the cooler and sits in front of the diffuser plate. This ensures that the water is pressed evenly through the diffuser plate, which in turn pushes the water evenly over the cooling base. The cooling channels on the CPU cooler base has also been enlarged to a proud 34 x 32 mm to accommodate the ever-growing CPU DIEs. This is especially true for multi-core processors with 4, 6, 8 or even 12 and more CPU cores. So that the heat from the CPU can be transferred to the water as quickly as possible. 81 cooling fins can be found on the cooling plate to ensure maximum heat diffusion. The fin structure has been reduced to just 0.2 mm in order to create the largest possible surface area in the smallest possible space. And the lighting? All new Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge CPU waterblocks come with addressable digital RGB lighting. The aRGB LEDs are integrated directly into the CPU water cooler and run once around the entire cooling block. With up to 15 digital RGB LEDs the entire CPU block is evenly and Intensively lit. Of course, the brightness can be controlled by an appropriate controller. And as with all aRGB LED products all known effects can be created. From simple colour changes to wave effects and rainbow lighting, everything is possible. Of course, the Alphacool Eisblock Aurora coolers can also be connected and controlled via mainboards using the standard 3-pin 5V connector. The cable also has an integrated Y-adapter. This makes it easy to connect further Alphacool Aurora products in series without having to order separate Y-adapters. Extension cables may be needed if you want to connect the products in series, depending on the size of the case. Is installation difficult? Mounting the XPX Aurora Edge Eisblock cooler is simple. The backplate is simply attached to the mainboard from behind. The mounting frame for the AMD or Intel socket is clamped to the cooler and the corresponding mounting screws are pre-attached to this frame. Next, you simply apply thermal paste and you attach the cooler using the screws. Please note: Remove the protective foil on the cooler base before use! Unique Aurora Design The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Edge has been significantly changed in some points to its predecessor, the Eisblock XPX. The lower part of the cooler is completely made of brass and no longer of Acrylglass or transparent nylon. This changes the overall feel and quality of the cooler. Not only is it heavier in the hand, but it is also much more stable than the usual Acryl CPU water coolers. In order to stand out visually from the normal Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU water cooler, the bottom of the cooler was kept completely in black. This emphasizes the visual effect of the water flow. The corners of the CPU cooler are more angular, which makes the cooler stand out from the normal Aurora Acryl Eisblock.
