The Toshiba MG11 series sets new standards in enterprise storage and combines over 50 years of HDD expertise with the latest storage technology. With capacities of up to 24TB in a standardized 3.5-inch format, the MG11 Series offers a powerful solution for data centers, cloud infrastructures and demanding enterprise applications. Thanks to the innovative FC-MAMR technology (Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording), the MG11 series achieves a storage density of up to 2.4 TB per magnetic disk. The helium-sealed design with up to ten platters enables high capacity while optimizing energy efficiency and reducing operating costs. With a speed of 7,200 rpm, a workload rate of up to 550 TB per year, and the choice between 6 Gbit/s SATA and 12 Gbit/s SAS interfaces, the MG11 series is designed for continuous 24/7 operation in professional environments. The high reliability is underlined by a mean time between failures (MTTF) of 2.5 million hours. For maximum data security, models with Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) and Sanitize Instant Erase (SIE) are available. In addition to the peak capacity of 24 TB, 22 TB, 20 TB, 18 TB, 16 TB and 14 TB variants are available - each available for SATA and SAS environments.
