Thanks to the innovative FC-MAMR technology (Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording), the MG11 series achieves a storage density of up to 2.4 TB per magnetic disk. The helium-sealed design with up to ten platters enables high capacity while optimizing energy efficiency and reducing operating costs. With a speed of 7,200 rpm, a workload rate of up to 550 TB per year, and the choice between 6 Gbit/s SATA and 12 Gbit/s SAS interfaces, the MG11 series is designed for continuous 24/7 operation in professional environments. The high reliability is underlined by a mean time between failures (MTTF) of 2.5 million hours. For maximum data security, models with Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) and Sanitize Instant Erase (SIE) are available.
